Monopoly Go is the busiest game on PlaytestCloud

New ‘Steal this strategy’ research from PlaytestCloud reveals that Monopoly Go is the go-to game on the testing platform when users are looking at monetisation strategy.
The other top competitor games tested by the firm were Township, Family Island, Travel Town and Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.
Playtest Cloud claims that half of the mobile games grossing $5bn+ were tested on its platform, and it also recorded a 145% increase in competitor playtests ordered by top studios between 2022 and 2024.
It also noted that female-identifying players accounted for slightly over half of all playtests in 2024, compared to less than 10% in 2014. In fact, 2024 was the first year that female players were targeted more than male players, driven by the fact female players outspend male users in casual games, one of the most-tested game categories.

It also revealed the top genres being tested through the platform, as above, led by casual puzzle, hybrid puzzle, hybridcasual, puzzle and RPG.
