Fall Guys, Subway Surfers and Merge Dragons veteran returns with TTFN Games

Jeremy Stein is leading new sports game studio TTFN Games, we can reveal.

The Fall Guys, Subway Surfers and Merge Dragons veteran’s new outfit is making a football tycoon game and is backed by former Liverpool FC, EA and Xbox boss Peter Moore, plus ex-EA Sports exec Ric Neil and several other ex-Gram and EA veterans.

TTFN is based in London and its debut game is a mix of Sim City and Football Manager, placing the player in the shoes of a football club owner building an empire.

All of TTFN’s games are designed to be “living sports worlds”, says Stein. The first title is set in the UK, and is centred upon men’s and women’s football. TTFN is already in licensing discussions with various leagues and clubs in the UK and beyond.

“TTFN exists to give people new sports experiences,” Stein told us. “The dominant sports game genres – action and management – emerged in the late ’80’s and early ’90’s. They both found their niches on console and PC, but neither broke through on mobile and both genres are showing their age. We think it’s time for something new that fits our multi-platform world.”

Playtesting is happening now on PC through browsers, but the goal is for the game to launch across mobile, PC and console.

“TTFN Games is a cross-platform game studio building a new type of approachable sports game,” added Stein. “We want TTFN Games to be your second screen, not your second job.”
