Metacore: The Merge Mansion maker has appointed Petri Hyökyranta as CTO, a position he had held on an interim basis since June. He previously spent 12 years at Rovio, including five as CTO. The company has also hired Daniel Lindkvist as head of engineering. He joins following a dozen years at King, where he most recently served as senior technical director for Candy Crush Soda Saga.

Hutch: The London-based racing game studio has appointed Andrew Watson as its new CEO. The former EA producer joined the company as a production manager in 2013, and has also previously served as its head of production and chief operating officer.

Everplay: Nordisk Games founder and former CEO Mikkel Weider has been appointed as CEO of the company, whose divisions include Astragon, StoryToys and Team17.

Nordeus: There are eight new appointments at the Top Eleven and Golf Rival maker. It has hired Emilija Moljević as product marketing specialist, Predrag Stamenkovic as software engineer, Ivan Ivanović as junior data scientist, Lazar Dobrota as junior QA software engineer, Mihailo Radović as junior data engineer,  Dušan Čolić as junior QA software engineer, Nemanja Djurovic as graphic designer and Luka Rapaić as junior gameplay engineer.

Nordeus’ Stamenkovic, Ace High Sports’ Cox, Ludia’s Harris, Funday’s Sigfusson, Raptor’s Goldie.

Ace High Sports: The startup studio has hired James Cox as chief technology officer. He most recently served as senior director of engineering at NaturalMotion, and has also worked at Lockwood Publishing, PlayStation and Konami.

Ludia: The Montreal-based studio has appointed Patrick Harris as its new lead game designer on Jurassic World Alive.

Funday Games: The Danish indie studio has appointed Hannibal Sigfusson as game programmer, a role he also previously held at Kong Orange. Sigfusson joins the Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor maker from Launch Money Games, where he worked as lead programmer.

Raptor PR: The London-based tech PR firm has hired Josh Goldie as senior account manager. He most recently held the same position at Started PR, and is also editor in chief of Source Gaming.
