Epic Games: The Fortnite maker has appointed former Supercell game lead Laura Gilliland as director of product management for mobile. Gilliland moves from D2C platform Neon, where she was head of GTM and operations, having previously worked in various senior roles at Supercell during a seven year stint at the Finnish firm.

Also at Epic, ex-senior director of growth partnerships Michael Modon has also taken on a new position as senior director, product management at Epic.

Scopely: The Monopoly Go maker has appointed Anushree Jain as senior product manager. She joins following five years at Miniclip, where she was most recently senior product manager.

Lego: The Danish toy giant has hired Rudi Bonaparte as VP, head of strategy for Lego Digital Play, a recently launched venture headed up by Aaron Loeb, a 30-year games industry veteran. Bonaparte previously spent almost 12 years at Riot Games, including seven as director, corporate strategy and business operations.

Epic’s Gilliland, Scopely’s Jain, Lego’s Bonaparte, Zynga’s Dayan, Supercell’s Gercek.

Zynga: Following almost a decade at Playtika, where he was most recently product VP, Shay Dayan has joined Zynga as senior director of product. Bryan Streit has also been hired as senior manager of ads and analytics. He joins from Unity, where he most recently worked as a senior revenue operations specialist.

Supercell: Former Playtika and Gram Games monetisation manager Kerem Gercek has taken on the same role at the Brawl Stars maker. The Finnish mobile studio has also appointed ex-Kolibri Games senior ASO manager Peiyi Lin as an ASO specialist.

Google: The Android firm has hired Mike Gullo as a business development manager. His previous roles include senior game developer relations manager at Backbone, and team director of gaming account management at Sensor Tower.

Metacore: The Merge Mansion maker has hired Mike Nicodemus as its new head of people and culture. Nicodemus previously served as director of people at Vinted, and people development lead at SumUp.

Moon Active: The Coin Master maker has promoted former IronSource performance manager Shay Sobel to the role of VP, corporate development.

Supercell’s Lin, Google’s Gullo, Metacore’s Nicodemus, Moon Active’s Sobel, Embracer’s Westbergh.

Embracer: As part of its preparations to spin off Coffee Stain Group, the company has announced a new board of directors for the Goat Simulator maker. It comprises board chair Jacob Jonmyren, Sara Börsvik, Henrik Tjärnström, Kicki Wallje-Lund, Anton Westbergh (CEO and board member) and Lars Wingefors. Additionally, Westbergh is no longer part of the executive management team of Embracer.

Tactile Games: There are two new hires at the Lily’s Garden maker. Ex-Moon Active product manager Daniella Feiglin has taken on the same role at Tactile, and former Dream Games 3D artist Merve Acar is a new game artist.

Level Infinite: Following three years at Activision, where he most recently served as associate digital manager for Call of Duty LATAM, Francisco Chinchot Guzmán has joined the Tencent publishing brand as PUBG Mobile marketing manager.

Unity: The engine maker has promoted Raphael Ruland to the position of SVP and CRO, games. His previous roles include executive producer at Zynga and senior manager of partnerships at EA.

Appcharge: Former StreamElements chief revenue officer Paul Bowen has taken on the same role at the D2C platform.

Tactile’s Feiglin and Acar, Level Infinite’s Guzmán, Unity’s Ruland, Appcharge’s Bowen.

Stash: The D2C firm has hired Spencer Tucker as its new chief product officer. His past roles include president of games at Scopely, SVP of product at Gree, and SVP of studios at Glu.

Stash has also appointed Courtney Touchstone as head of marketing. Her past roles include director of integrated marketing at Adjust, and director of product marketing at Sensor Tower.

TTFN Games: Games industry veteran and former Madden NFL producer Ric Neil has taken on the role of director of business development at the new London-based sports game studio. TTFN is led by Fall Guys, Subway Surfers and Merge Dragons veteran Jeremy Stein. It is making a football tycoon game and its backers include former Liverpool FC, EA and Xbox boss Peter Moore.

FM Games: Former Sierra Studios localisation program manager Chris Kouvopoulos has joined the studio as senior product manager. He was most recently development services manager at Blizzard.

Two Desperados: Former Socialpoint head of user acquisition Michael Jessen has taken on the same role at the Serbia-based Nono Crossing maker.

Moloco: Former Unity senior analytics consultant Levent Can has joined the machine learning company as a senior insights analyst.

Ginger Games: This is a new studio backed by Krafton India Gaming Incubator. It was co-founded by CEO Sumit Batheja, who previously founded Gamestack, and Shrey Mishra, who previously founded Gaming Central and XR Central.

Hypercell Games: The Riga, Latvia-based firm has appointed Roman Ismagilov as director of business development. He was most recently chief business development officer at Joyteractive.
