Kwalee: The mobile developer and publisher has hired Artur Grigorjan as its new director of game economy. He has previously worked at the likes of Playrix, Playgendary and Murka, alongside running his own consultancy and development outfit 3A-Services.

Google: The tech giant has hired Huawei’s Peter Duan as its new growth manager within its app developer sales team in China. He joins Google after over four years at Huawei as head of business development, working out of Toronto, Canada. Duan has also previously worked at Alipay and founded academic community platform 6Pi.

Nordeus: Om Tandon has joined the Take-Two-owned firm as senior manager for art and UX/UI. He joins permanently having started working at the firm as contractor in November of last year, per his LinkedIn. Tandon has previously worked at Scopely’s Digit Games, Gameloft and Wildlife Studios.

Newzoo: The data firm has a new advisor in Alejandro Marin Vidal. He had previously worked at Activision Blizzard for over five years, most recently as director of market insights and competitive intelligence.

Fusebox Games: The narrative-focused mobile games firm has brought Alice Bowman on board as senior product manager. She joins from Mag Interactive, where she was a product lead, and has also previously worked at Netspeak as a senior game designer.

Solsten: The research firm has hired Hwi Bang as a customer success manager for North America. He joins on the back of two stints at Datai.ai; the first was as a gaming analyst between July 2021 and July 2022, before returning three months later as customer success manager for its gaming business.

Sandsoft: The Saudi games firm has appointed Mariana Chucri as its new VP of finance. She joins having worked at EA, Ubisoft, Eidos Montréal and Crey Games. Most recently, she spent almost three years as CFO of Trophy Games.

SocialPeta: The mobile data firm has made two new appointments in Carlos Wang and Jack Nguyen. The former has been hired as a marketing manager having previously worked for just over two years as an ecommerce development lead at China Chemical Fiber. Meanwhile Nguyen has joined as a key account sales manager. Prior to being hired by SocialPeta, he has worked in sales at the likes of Dolphin Sea Air Services and PowerGate Group.

Solsten’s Bang, Sandsoft’s Chucri, SocialPeta’s Wang and Nguyen, TikTok’s Vasan.

TikTok: The social media giant has promoted Rema Vasan to head of North America business marketing and global gaming marketing. She previously held both positions separately since joining TikTok in 2022, but this is a new expanded position. Before joining the social media giant, she worked at the likes of Marina Maher Communications and Pfizer.

Hasbro: The toy and entertainment giant has promoted Casey Vatcher to head of EMEA marketing for Magic: The Gathering. Vatcher has worked at Hasbro for over five years now, previously holding the position of senior regional marketing manager. Prior to that he spent almost four years at Nintendo.

Unity: The engine giant has promoted JL Xie and Saar Kaner. Xie has been at Unity for over three years now and has been elevated up to senior account executive from account executive for the company’s Grow division. Meanwhile, Kaner has been promoted to senior user acquisition manager for Supersonic from Unity, having previously worked in growth and monetisation.

Adikteev: The user retention firm has promoted Mikheil Pagava to lead its sales team for EMEA. He joined back in 2021 as a sales manager for EMEA and APAC, before rising to senior sales manager two years later.
