Xbox/Microsoft Gaming: As reported on Friday, Phil Spencer and Sarah Bond are no longer running Xbox and Microsoft’s wider gaming efforts.

Former CoreAI president Asha Sharma is now in the hotseat as EVP and CEO of Microsoft Gaming. She has also previously held senior roles at Meta and Instacart. Unity: Former EA Mobile, Zynga and Match Group boss Bernard Kim has joined the engine and adtech giant’s board as an independent director, while Unity cofounder David Helgason and IronSource cofounder Tomer Bar-Zeev have left the company.

Chris Gfroehrer, who was previously Unity’s senior director and GM for marketplace and commerce, has also started a new position as VP of go-to-market.

Rovio: The Angry Birds maker has appointed Daniel Svärd, who previously served as head of live game studios at Candy Crush maker King, as its chief operating officer.

Hoyoverse: Following six years at Dentsu, where he most recently served as global strategist for digital and entertainment, Robin Lau has joined the Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail publisher as senior global brand partnerships manager.

Google: Former Google Play business development manager Arata Naito has started a new position as head of Japan games partnerships. He was also previously director of first party games marketing at PlayStation and partner marketing manager at Netflix.

Stillfront: At the request of its two largest shareholders, the Swedish roll-up firm will convene an extraordinary general meeting to elect a new board of directors. Laureus Capital GmbH and Knuth Capital LLC FZ have proposed a six-member board consisting of Lars-Johan Jarnheimer as chairman, Erik Forsberg as deputy chairman, Maria Hedengren, Mohammad Alhaj Hasan, Waleed Tuffaha and Thomas Vollmöller.

Supercell: The Clash of Clans team has a new chief of staff in William Goodwin. He joins from King, where he most recently served as head of operations.

Nexon: The South Korean online games specialist has appointed Patrick Söderlund as executive chairman. Embark’s founder joined Nexon’s board after the company invested in the Arc Raiders studio. He also previously served as CEO of Battlefield maker DICE and executive VP of worldwide studios at EA.

Trailmix: The Love & Pies maker has appointed Matthew Nobbs as growth manager. He previously held the same role at Loveshark, and was most recently a product marketing manager at Zynga.

King: The Candy Crush maker has appointed Emily Pestell as senior brand communications manager. She most recently worked in its global corporate and internal communications team. Pestell has also previously held PR roles at Samsung, Activision, Nintendo and Disney.

Wooga: The story-driven casual games maker has appointed Marta Łyczywek as monetisation manager. She joins following seven years at Huuuge Games, where she most recently worked as monetisation specialist.

FunPlus: Former Ubisoft and Hoyoverse marketing boss Walter Lorenz is now head of publishing at the State of Survival and King of Avalon maker’s Studio Ellipsis team in Lisbon.

Make-A-Wish: The children’s charity has appointed former Activision, Take-Two and 2K PR head Markus Wilding to its games industry advisory committee.

Playstudios: Former ad monetisation manager Gal Silver has started a new role as product manager at the Tetris license holder.

Sybo: Former senior QA tester Kajal Singh has started a new position as a producer at the Subway Surfers maker.

Tebex: The gaming monetisation platform has hired Adam Cavanagh as its head of sales. He was most recently SVP of sales at Volt.io, and also previously worked in sales leadership roles at Plaid, Tyk, and Pusher.

Playtika: The Israeli developer and publisher has promoted Ofer Klein from product team lead to product group manager. Former CS manager Noa Silberstein has also started a new position at the company, working on ad monetisation.
