Mistplay: The loyalty platform is expanding rapidly – it hired 35 people in Q4 2022 and another 30 new folks since January 2023. Those new hires include former Pubmatic legal counsel Catherine Vinh as director and senior counsel, principal product manager Peter Qumsieh (a veteran of Relic, Respawn, EA and Capcom), senior communications manager Kate MacLean (former PR manager at Plenty of Fish) and former Tapjoy and Jampp sales manager Navi Purewal, who is now senior account executive.

Big Fish Games: Former Jam City growth and ASO manager Parv Bhargava has moved to Big Fish. He’s now senior manager and head of ASO at the Aristocrat-owned firm.
Supercell: Miina Heinonen has joined as junior event producer, moving over from Helsinki event firm Tapaus. New to Supercell’s recruitment team are relocation and immigration specialist Kristie Stenhouse and Connan Chen, who is now talent partner at Supercell. Chen moves to the Clash of Clans maker after working with Scopely through agency Scede. Experienced compensation exec Juhani Alvesalo is also settling in as the new total rewards lead.

Zynga: Game designer Rahul Pegallapati has joined Zynga from PlaySimple games, where he was associate game designer. Luchen Tan has moved from an engineering role at Twitter to become engineering manager within Zynga’s machine learning team, Muskan Goyal has stepped up from production intern to work as associate producer on CSR2 and Tayfun Yavuz joined as mobile game engineer, moving over from Chef Game Studio. Zynga-owned Chartboost has also added Karim Atwa to its ranks as solutions engineer.
Popcore: The Zynga-owned studio has hired Alexandra Pavlovskaya as its new senior user acquisition manager. She moves from her role at Gismart as lead UA manager for paid social, and has previously worked in UA at Playgendary.

Rovio: The Angry Birds maker’s Montreal studio has welcomed programmer David Pare, who moves over from Chainawesome Games.
Landmark Games: Nuno Monteiro is now senior game developer at the Sea of Souls maker. He moves from start-up studio Electric Manta, where he was senior games programmer.
Kwalee: The prolific UK publisher has appointed Christopher Walker-Browne as its new digital media producer. He joins from digital agency Holovis.
