GTA: San Andreas is among 13 mobile games set to leave Netflix soon. Other titles in the purge include Civilisation VI, Reigns: Three Kingdoms, Kentucky Route Zero and Twelve Minutes.
GTA: San Andreas is Netflix Games’ most-downloaded game by far, according to Appmagic estimates, with around 57.4m downloads to date. Another top performer for Netflix, interactive narrative app Scriptic, is also set for the chop soon, having racked up 7.7m installs through Netflix Games.

Netflix games president Alain Tascan teased the ongoing reboot at GDC, explaining that the streaming giant would now be concentrating on four main game types: party, kids, narrative and mainstream titles.
Tascan later told us more about Netflix’s gameplan, including how it wants to build a Fortnite-like social gaming experience. He also insisted Netflix is in gaming for the long term, and that its 2025 roster will help it finally “find its voice” in gaming.
