Borderlands Mobile (Zynga)
Gearbox’s looter shooter series has made a surprise mobile debut. It’s iOS and US only for now, but its support pages mention an Android version too. “Zynga’s NaturalMotion studio is currently conducting a limited-time test for an untitled Borderlands mobile project,” the developer told Gematsu.
Plants vs. Zombies 3: Evolved (EA)
PopCap has launched PvZ 3 in early access in Ireland and the Philippines, with more regions to follow in the coming months as part of its global rollout. The latest entry in the tower defence series lets players merge plants to combat the zombie horde.

Game of Thrones: Dragonfire (Warner Bros. Games)
Inspired by the HBO series House of the Dragon, this sees players hatching, raising and commanding dragons in tactical battles across Westeros. Pre-registration is now available on the App Store and Google Play.
Netflix Playground (Netflix)
Designed for children aged eight and under, this new app will play home to a growing library of titles featuring characters from the likes of Dr. Seuss’s Horton, Peppa Pig, Bad Dinosaurs and Sesame Street. It’s available now for Netflix subscribers.
Jetpack Joyride Racing (Halfbrick)
Following a number of delays, this multiplayer kart racer from the Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride maker is out today, Mobile Games Network reports.
The Jackbox Party Essentials (Netflix)
Playable using a phone as the controller, this party game collection brings three titles from the Jackbox library to Netflix’s TV subscription service. They are bluffing game Fibbage 4, drawing title Drawful 2, and joke writing game Quiplash 3.
Fantasy X Hunters (Supercent)

This open-world monster hunting RPG has soft launched on the App Store and Google Play in the US, according to Appmagic.
New Apple Arcade games for May

Next month’s Apple Arcade update is headlined by Nick Jr. Replay. It includes over 50 retro Nick Jr. games, featuring characters from children’s shows like Dora the Explorer, Blaze and the Monster Machines, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
It will launch on May 7 alongside cooking business simulator Good Pizza, Great Pizza+, physics puzzler Perchang World, and Ultimate 8 Ball Pool+.
Slap (Integrated Reality Labs)
Launching in Q2 2026, this uses location technology to put a mobile spin on real-world multiplayer games like tag, hide and seek, capture the flag and Assassin.
Yahoo Solitaire Roadtrip (Yahoo)

Playable on desktop or mobile via the Yahoo Games website in the US, this offers a roadtrip-themed twist on classic solitaire.
