NYT Crossplay (The New York Times)

This is a new multiplayer word game from the makers of the wildly popular NYT Games app. It’s already topping the download charts in the UK, US and elsewhere. Players can subscribe monthly for $4.99 or annually for $49.99.
Arknights: Endfield (Gryphline)
This ambitious RPG has launched globally on iOS, Android, PC and PS5.
Rainbow Six Mobile (Ubisoft)
This long-awaited mobile shooter is now out worldwide on iOS and Android. It was first announced in April 2022, and entered soft launch in August 2023.
Angry Birds Rush (Rovio/OhBiBi)
This one is in early testing on iOS and Android in the US, according to Appmagic. Rovio confirmed this week that this is the ‘luck battle’ game it is working on with French developer OhBiBi, which it teased last week.
Angry Birds returns to China (Kingsoft Shiyou)
Rovio’s series will be reintroduced to the Chinese market through a new partnership with local publisher Kingsoft Shiyou. First up will be a special version of Angry Birds 2, which is said to be “enhanced by a 3D engine, dynamic level designs, and a brand-new magic system”. It will be followed by Angry Birds Dream Blast, the bubble‑popping puzzle game which has recently been underperforming.
Braid: Anniversary Edition (Thekla)
This indie classic is out now on iOS for $4.99, after a short stint on Netflix.
SEGA Football Club Champions 2026 (Sega)
This is a new, westernised edition of the long-running Japanese football management series Let’s Make A Soccer Team. It is ‘powered by’ Sega’s Football Manager database and is out now on iOS and Android. It’s also coming to PS5, PS4 and Steam.
Brick Blast – Ball Breaker (Miniclip)
This brick-breaking puzzle game has launched worldwide on the App Store and Google Play.
TR-49 (Inkle)
“Narrative deduction meets audio drama” in this new game from the team behind 80 Days, Overboard, and Heaven’s Vault. It’s out now on iOS and Steam, priced at $6.99, with a Nintendo Switch release to come at a later date.
Puzzle Solitaire

This is a mix of solitaire and puzzle mechanics that’s getting downloads from Philippines, Indonesia, Germany, Israel, Brazil and other markets on iOS only.
Zeeverse (Kaizen)
This creature-taming MMORPG with blockchain features has soft launched in the Philippines and Canada. The cross-platform title is available on Android, iOS and the Epic Games Store.
Goblin Sushi (Metaroot)
This “rogue-like restaurant-action-sim” will launch into early access on Steam, iOS and Android on February 9.
Coffee Talk (Chorus Worldwide)
Following its PC and console release back in 2020, this coffee brewing and talking simulator is coming to iOS and Android on March 20, Gematsu reports.
