Mo.co (Supercell)
Supercell has outlined a few tweaks it’s making to upcoming monster-hunting game Mo.co, based on player feedback, and said that further testing is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2025.
In a Reddit post, it said it’ll tackle complaints about a lack of player agency and repetition by adding more gear chests, letting players choose upgrades more often, and introduce more frequent and varied in-game events.
It’s also revamping the game’s progression system, including making some gears and world map unlocks level-based. To improve the endgame it’s going to add new versions of familiar maps, which will play home to tougher enemies. It’s also looking at the possibility of carrying over some small, permanent progress chapter-to-chapter.
Supercell is working on PvP experiences too, including free-for-all and team-based modes. The studio said its goal is to stick to cosmetic-only monetisation.
