New games now: Need for Speed Mobile, Braid, Hay Day’s China launch, Rollercoaster Tycoon and more

Need for Speed Mobile (Tencent)

Niko Partners has spotted via reports in China that this open world racing game is set to release this summer in mainland China. Need for Speed Mobile is being developed by Tencent’s Timi studio, and pre-registrations are at over 14m.

Braid: Anniversary Edition (Netflix)

Jonathan Blow’s iconic puzzle platformer is coming to mobile via Netflix on May 14.

Hay Day (Tencent)

Supercell’s free-to-play mobile farming game is launching in China via Tencent. The iOS App Store listing suggests it is expected to launch on May 16.

RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic (Atari)

Pocket Tactics reports that the theme park management sim is back on Google Play following its departure in 2023.

Olympics Go! Paris 2024 (nWay)

Pre-registrations are live for this officially-licensed city and sports management sim ahead of its sprint onto App Store and Google Play in June.

Pilgrims (Amanita Design)

This wistful adventure game might have left Apple Arcade, but it’s come back to both iOS and Android as a free-to-start title.

Bumi: Next stop, Earth! (Blamorama)

This eco-friendly game featuring citybuilding gameplay and minigames is launching on Earth Day, April 22, for iOS and Android.

Athenian Rhapsody (Top Hat Studios)

This comedy role-playing game is coming to Google Play and the App Store on May 14. 

Genshin Impact Version 4.6 (Hoyoverse) 

The latest update to the free-to-play RPG is coming out on April 24, bringing with it a new playable character and new boss.

Train King Tycoon (BoomBit)

The publisher has signed a deal with developer Charged Monkey for the upcoming train sim game, which is still in development. 

Hamster Inn (HyperBeard)

This cosy management title is out now worldwide on iOS and Android.
