The Sims: Project Stories (EA)

As we previously noted, publishing giant EA told investors this week that a new mobile Sims title codenamed “Project Stories” is in the works.
It was described as “a platform for creating and sharing stories in The Sims universe,” but EA did not confirm a release window.
Palworld Mobile (Krafton)
Twitter user PlayerIGN – spotted by GamingOnPhone – has noted that Korean firm Krafton appears to be working on a mobile version of Pocketpair’s Palworld.
Job ads suggest the PUBG maker is hiring a technical director for Palworld Mobile, but the game has yet to be officially confirmed.
Squid Game: Unleashed (Netflix)
The dystopian South Korean TV show is coming to mobile as a 32-player party title. A first teaser was unveiled this week, but there’s no firm date yet – all we know is that it is coming to iOS and Android “soon”.
Monument Valley 3 (Netflix)
Pre-registration for the third entry in Ustwo’s iconic mobile puzzle series is live now, ahead of its launch on December 10. The first Monument Valley game is also now available through the Netflix app, too.
Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game (Super Evil Megacorp)
This co-op action title based on the Zack Snyder film series is being developed by Super Evil Megacorp. It is coming to the streaming platform in 2025.
More upcoming Netflix games: Civilization, Street Fighter and more
A highlight reel for Netflix’s Geeked Week showcased yet more incoming games, including Civilization VI: Platinum (2K Games), Street Fighter IV CE (Capcom), Chicken Run: Eggstraction (Aardman) Don’t Starve Together (Klei), Lord of the Rings title Tales of the Shire (Weta Workshop) and narrative puzzler Lab Rat. All are down as “coming soon”.
Disney Mirrorverse (Kabam)
Canadian firm Kabam has announced that it will shut down branded RPG Disney Mirrorverse on December 16. The title has already been removed from both the App Store and Google Play, and in-app purchases have been disabled. Disney Mirrorverse launched on June 23, 2022.
Disney Pixel RPG (GungHo)
This retro-themed role-playing game featuring characters from the House of Mouse is launching on iOS and Android on October 7.
Sokobond Express (Draknek)
This new chemistry-themed puzzle title is out now on iOS and Android.
Pocket Oasis (Knit’n’Purl)
This gardening sim title is out now on iOS following its Steam launch in May 2024. It’s free-to-start, with a $2.99 purchase to unlock the full game.
Carmen Sandiego (Gameloft)
The long-running mystery-slash-education franchise is coming to mobile devices via Netflix. Pre-registration is live now, and it appears that the game will be released on iOS and Android separately in the future. There’s no word on launch dates for any platforms yet.
The Claynosaurz (Gameloft)
The French firm has inked a deal to make a mobile game based on this ‘digital collectables’ – aka NFT – brand. There are no details regarding platforms or a release date just yet.
Takedown Legends (Fried Chicken Labs)
A closed beta is now live for this battle royale title on iOS and Android in France, Australia, Vietnam and Mexico.
Bleach Soul Puzzle (KLab)
Pre-registration is live for this match 3 title based on the smash hit manga franchise on iOS and Android. The App Store slates it for a September 30 release date.
The Wizard (Araz Studio)
This fantasy-themed action-adventure RPG based on Greek mythology is out on Google Play. It comes with a $3.99 price tag.
Children of Morta (Playdigious)
The story-focused roguelite RPG is coming to iOS and Android on October 7, and pre-registration is live now. The game comes with a $6.99 price tag.
