New games now: Two new Disney titles, Touchgrind X, Need For Speed, Temple Run, Vampire Survivors, Metal Slug and more

Disney Speedstorm (Gameloft)

The free-to-play kart title from the House of Mouse has launched on iOS and Android. It’s available globally now.

Disney Pixel RPG (GungHo Online Entertainment) 

This casual retro-themed RPG featuring characters from across the Disneyverse is set to launch later this year. Pre-registration is now live on Google Play and the App Store.

Touchgrind X (Illusion Labs) 

This upcoming extreme biking game is in soft launch now on iOS and Android in the UK and Sweden, according to the CEO of developer Illusion Labs.

Need for Speed Mobile (Tencent)

GamingonPhone reports that franchise developer Criterion says that this upcoming racing title will “set the benchmark” for the genre. It’s out later this year for iOS and Android.

August on Apple Arcade

Three new titles are coming to the iPhone giant’s games subscription service next month. Temple Run Legends launches on August 1, another runner with “fresh gameplay modes, dynamic challenges and rewards, and over 500 levels in story mode”. On the same day, cult hit Vampire Survivors is also launching onto the platform, without the ads that pop-up in the existing App Store game. Meanwhile, on August 29, physics-based puzzle title Castle Crumble is launching for Vision Pro.

Metal Slug: Awakening -Run&Gun (HaoPlay) 

This new entry in the storied arcade action franchise is dropping onto Google Play and the App Store on July 18.

My Talking Hank Islands (Outfit7)

Outfit7’s latest virtual pet game is out now on Google Play and the App Store.

AceForce 2 (Level Infinite) 

Tencent has been holding a closed test for this upcoming five-vs-five PvP first-person shooter on Google Play. It’s set to launch on Android and iOS but there’s no release date yet.

Superliminal (Noodlecake) 

Pre-orders for this first-person puzzle game are now live on iOS and Android.

Cassette Beasts (Raw Fury)

This monster-themed role-playing game is set to launch on iOS and Android on August 28.

The Pinball Wizard (Frosty Pop)

This pinball-themed dungeon crawler is coming to the App Store on August 13; it was part of the Apple Arcade line-up from 2019 until May 2024.

Roia (Tobias Sturn)

Pocket Gamer reports that this relaxing water-themed puzzle game is coming to iOS and Android on July 16.
