Playrix founders hit tenth in Sunday Times Rich List with growing £12.54bn fortune

This year’s Sunday Times Rich List places Playrix founders Igor and Dmitry Bukhman in tenth spot with a combined fortune of £12.54bn.

Tripledot owner Lior Shiff is also featured as one of the new entries in the list, placed in 290th spot with his estimated fortune of £451m.

Dmitry Bukhman, 39, is also named the wealthiest British citizen under 40, ahead of the likes of the Duke and Duchess of Westminster, Lady Charlotte Wellesley and Improbable cofounder Herman Narula.

The Bukhman brothers are also top of the charts when it comes to their estimated rise in wealth in the last year. The Sunday Times estimates that £6.191bn of their combined £12.54bn fortune was added in the last year.

Elsewhere in the list, Sequoia’s Sir Michael Moritz and Harriet Heyman are in 40th place with £4.4bn.

Tripledot boss Shiff’s £451m puts him just ahead of James Bond IP owners Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson, and a couple of spots ahead of The Rolling Stones’ Sir Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.

King founder Riccardo Zacconi is in 306th place with an estimated fortune of £410m, while Rockstar founders Sam and Dan Houser are in 312th spot with £400m.

Last year, the Russian-born Bukhman brothers were placed 27th in The Sunday Times’ 2024 Rich List.

The Sunday Times also debuted its ‘gaming rich list’ back in August 2024, led by the Bukhman brothers. King’s Riccardo Zacconi was third, worth an estimated £410m. Fellow King execs Mel Morris and Sebastian Knutsson were in seventh and ninth respectively, with fortunes of £312m and £225m, according to The Times.

Tripledot Studios’ Lior Shiff was listed as the fifth wealthiest UK resident with £347m, and fellow Tripledot cofounders Akin Babayigit and Eyal Chameides also made the list. Babayigit was in 16th and is worth £96m, according to the Times, and Chameides is in 29th with an estimated £22m as of August 2024.

Shiff, in particular, may be even higher in the list next year. After his firm Tripledot bought 10 AppLovin studios in a $800m deal recently, he told us that the UK-based firm is now on the road to a potential IPO.
