Omnidrone’s 120 Barcelona-based staffers are now part of Scopely.
The Titan Brawl maker had already received investment from Scopely to work on new titles, and had been partnering with the Scrabble GO maker on “a number of game projects,” a statement said.
Omnidrone is now the third Scopely outfit in Barcelona, as the city is also host to Yahtzee With Buddies and Scrabble GO studio Parallel, plus games and tech specialist GSN Games.
Casual game outfit and Tuscany Villa maker Genjoy, which Scopely acquired in 2020, is over in Seville.
