New games now: Roomscapes, Zenless Zone Zero, Squad Busters, Take That’s match 3 game, Zombie State and more 

 

Here every Friday you’ll find big games gone global, fresh soft launches, the latest release dates and everything in between.

Roomscapes (Playrix)

This latest ‘scapes game from Playrix just went into soft launch in India on Google Play only. The Home/Gardenscapes maker’s latest spin on the formula appears to have an interior design-based meta, and of course stars series mascot Austin.

Zenless Zone Zero (Mihoyo)

Pre-registrations are now live for this brand-new Mihoyo action-RPG. The title is set to be released on iOS and Android later in 2024.

Squad Busters (Supercell)

You’re probably well aware by now, but Supercell’s Squad Busters is launching worldwide on May 29. It was also pushed live in Canada, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Mexico and Singapore earlier this week, in what now looks like a very short soft launch.

We published some first impressions on the soft launch earlier this week, the day before the launch date was officially confirmed.

Take That: This Life Match 3 (Onteca)

As spotted by Pocketgamer.biz, this match-3 game based on the British 1990s pop music sensation is out now on iOS and Android.

Zombie State (MyGames)

This new roguelike first-person shooter is out now globally on iOS and Android.

Merge Mansion (Metacore/Tencent) 

Appmagic shows that Merge Mansion is headed to China via Tencent. The title is set to launch on iOS on July 3, says the data firm.

The Lord of the Rings: Strife (NetEase) 

It appears that NetEase is releasing a new game based on the Lord of the Rings IP, which looks like a 4X battler type game. Appmagic has the China-only title down as coming out on May 16 for iOS.

Warbits Plus (Risky Lab) 

An enhanced version of this Advance Wars-inspired strategy game is set to launch imminently. Touch Arcade reports that pre-registration is open on both Google Play and the App Store ahead of a May 7 release. 

Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link (Square Enix)

Beta tests are now live for the upcoming location-based action RPG. TouchArcade reports that this is the second iOS closed test and the game’s first outing on Android.

Loop Hero (Playdigious)

Pre-registration is live for iOS and Android for this dark fantasy roguelike following its PC and console debut in 2021. The game comes with a premium $6.99 price tag, lowered by a 10% launch discount. 

Rumble Club (Lightfox Games) 

This chaotic multiplayer party game is out now on iOS and Android. 

Neopets: Tales of Dacardia (World of Neopia)

After going through a number of different iterations, this town builder set in the world of Neopets is set to launch on May 15 for iOS and Android. The game is currently in soft launch in Canada and Hong Kong. 

Persona 5: The Phantom X (Perfect World)

As spotted by Pocketgamer.biz, this free-to-play spin-off to Atlus’ mega hit Persona 5 is out now in open beta in South Korea for iOS and Android.

Dadish 3D (Thomas K Young)

The latest entry in the Dadish series is a retro-themed platformer, available now on iOS and Android.

Tarisland (Tencent)

Pre-registration for the upcoming cross-platform MMO is live now on the App Store and Google Play ahead of its launch later this year.
