Krafton has officially struck a deal with Pocketpair to bring Palworld to mobile.
The news was confirmed by a Krafton press release, in which the Korean firm said it had secured the licence to bring the Palworld IP to mobile, but stopped short of saying it is a straight port of the PC and console hit.
The translated text from Korean states that the Palworld IP is being ‘extended’ to mobile platforms. “We plan to faithfully reinterpret and implement the main fun elements of the original work to suit the mobile environment,” says the statement. “The project will be handled by the development team of PUBG Studios, a creative studio under Krafton.”
As we reported previously, rumours had been swirling around a mobile edition of Palworld for a couple of weeks after X user PlayerIGN spotted that Krafton had been hiring a technical director for Palworld mobile.

Before Nintendo announced it was suing Palworld maker Pocketpair last month, the game was subject to copycats of its own when brazen clones of the game were approved for sale on the App Store and Google Play.
Posting on Palworld’s official English-language X feed, PocketPair said: “There is no Palworld application for phones. Apps using names and product images such as “パルワールド” and “Palworld” are appearing on the AppStore and Google Play, but they are not affiliated with our company in any way.”
“We have reported this issue to Apple, which operates the App Store, and Google, which operates Google Play. Please be aware that downloading these apps may lead to the leakage of personal information stored on your smartphone or to fraud.”
