Ubisoft: Having started his career at the French publisher as a producer on Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell, Julien Bares has rejoined Ubisoft to lead two divisions. He’ll oversee casual and mobile gaming, including Just Dance, Growtopia, and Hungry Shark, as well as live experiences including The Crew and For Honor. Bares most recently served as head of development at Tencent Games, and was also previously general manager at 2K China.

Microsoft Gaming / Activision Blizzard King: Following nine years at Jam City, where he most recently served as vice president of publishing, Ryan Atilano has joined Microsoft Gaming as director of mobile platform partnerships. Before his spell at Jam City, Atilano worked at Scopely as manager of networks and optimisation.
Also at Microsoft-owned ABK, Google, Apple and Belka Games veteran Dima Mikhailov has been promoted to senior manager of mobile platform partnerships.
Over at Blizzard, former Scopely senior product manager Yolanda Zhang has taken on the same role on the Diablo Immortal team at the Microsoft-owned studio.
And at King, former Stream Hatchet head of marketing and Dell Technologies EMEA marketing manager Mark Redgrave has joined the Candy Crush Soda Saga team as product marketing manager.
Also at King, Ed Bourg is the firm’s new UI design manager. His previous roles take in UI/UX work at Scopely and Voodoo. Alexander Chiveli, previously an artist at Redhill Games and Bandai Namco Mobile, has also joined King as senior 3D game artist. Carla Romero Guillén steps up to senior marketing operations specialist for Candy Crush Saga, and Julio Valdivielso has been promoted to director of engineering.

Scopely: There are six new appointments at the Monopoly Go maker. Yiran Ding has joined as a senior producer, having previously spent eight years at Riot Games, most recently working as delivery lead for modes and maps on League of Legends.
Brian Willitts has been hired as senior director of community. He joins following almost eight years as director of community and content at Amazon Games.
Ex-Socialpoint level designer Pol Serra Farré has taken on the same position on the Monopoly Go team. Alana Levitan has been promoted to director of community and player experience, Monserrat Ibáñez Haces has been promoted to the position of senior product marketing manager and Daniel Stokes has been promoted to game designer.
Supercell: Following nearly 13 years at Rovio, where he most recently served as principal product manager, Timo Pietilä has joined the Brawl Stars maker as product manager, liveops tech. Mikko Niinivaara, who was previously a senior developer at Rovio and most recently senior server developer at EA, has also joined Supercell as senior server engineer.
Lego: The Danish toy giant has appointed former Space Ape Games chief operations officer Nic Walker as director of technical operations at Lego Digital Play.

Netflix: The streaming giant has appointed Leslee Sullivant as senior game producer for kids games. She previously worked for the company as a senior producer on Squid Game: Unleashed, and has also held roles at Blizzard, Meta and Scopely.
Rollic: The Zynga-owned studio has appointed Berk Çukacı as a senior game developer. He was previously a senior game engineer at RoofStacks and game technical lead at Codeway Studios.
Trailmix Games: The Love & Pies maker has appointed Ed Sheldon as a senior game engineer. He joins from SMG Studio, where he spent almost three years as a senior programmer.
Mindtail Games: Following four years at King, where she most recently served as visual development artist, Ece Özgüle has joined the Istanbul-based mobile gaming studio as an art director.
Mag Interactive: Fanny Empacher has joined as a data analyst, and Pietro Baioni has come on board as an animator, a role he also previously held at Toca Boca.
Google: The tech giant has promoted Marine Wing from AMER web gaming partnerships lead to the role of global lead for web gaming.
Warner Bros. Games: Former senior consumer marketing manager Nancy Muta has started a new position as manager, performance marketing. Muta was previously a senior marketing specialist at Blizzard and mobile growth marketing manager at Airbnb.
MGVC: The investment arm of My.Games has promoted former investment associate Kirill Slavgorodskiyto the role of deputy investment director.
