Is SchoolGirl House the next game from Royal Match maker Dream Games? (No)

[EDIT: having thought about it, we really do think this is a Play Store / Appmagic error, but the original story is here below for posterity anyway]

Royal Match maker Dream Games appears to be testing a new game called SchoolGirl House: Runaway Game. Or is it?

At the time of writing, a Google Play store listing is live and labelled as ‘early access’. We first spotted the game via Dream Games’ developer profile on data service Appmagic.

When downloaded, the title is very, very rough and chock-full of ads – but persevere and you can find a very rough Hello Neighbour-style game in which you play as a schoolgirl trying to escape from their bedroom without their parents spotting them.

We have asked Dream Games for a comment on this title and will update this article with more detail if they offer a statement. It may well be a mistake or a data error – according to Appmagic, the game has not officially been released in any test markets yet. The store screenshots also appear to be AI-generated (below).

You can find a snippet of gameplay below, taken from the Android version currently available on the Google Play Store.

SchoolGirl House’s store description describes the title as a “thrilling stealth escape adventure where you must outsmart your parents and sneak out of the house without getting caught”.

You play as a “clever schoolgirl punished for a bad grade” who is grounded. The player must use “intelligence, stealth skills, and problem-solving abilities to break free”, it continues.

The player can also find items and tools and use them in different ways to escape, according to the store blurb. The game also has “smart AI parents” that who will notice changes to their environment and are alert to any noises you make.
