Fingersoft: The Finnish mobile game studio has reappointed Teemu Närhi as its CEO, replacing Jaakko Kylmäoja, who has joined its board of directors. Närhi has been at the Hill Climb Racing maker for 13 years, and previously served as its CEO from 2014 until 2019. Since then, he has worked as a game developer and been a member of the board at Fingersoft.

Playstudios: The LA-based firm has appointed Or Reznitsky as general manager, vice president, Tetris Block Party. He previously founded and led Pixode, which was acquired by Playstudios, and also worked as VP marketing and monetisation at Playtika.

Playstudios has also promoted Erez Lalezari to the role of director of game economy and analytics. He joined Playstudios as analytics and game economy team lead in September 2023, following four years at Playtika.

Lego: The Danish toy giant has appointed Aaron Loeb as president of a new entity called Lego Digital Play. The 30-year games industry veteran’s previous roles include leadership at Scopely, FoxNext Games and EA. Loeb will oversee the creation of new gaming and digital experiences beyond those currently being offered by the Lego Group.

Sony: The PlayStation maker has appointed Hideaki Nishino as its new president and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment. Nishino was previously co-CEO with former PlayStation Studios and Guerrilla Games boss Hermen Hulst, and has worked at Sony for over 20 years. Hulst has now become CEO of the company’s Studio Business Group.

Kwalee: The UK developer and publisher has promoted Zheko Stefanov from lead product manager to head of mobile publishing. He has previously worked at Snapshot Games and Gameloft.  Artur Grigorjan has also been promoted from director of game economy to senior director of mobile games. He previously held senior roles at Murka and Playgendary.

Ten Square Games: The Fishing Clash maker has hired Dayan E. Yar as its new chief product officer. He has over 17 years of experience in the industry, having held leadership roles at Zynga, SciPlay, Monumental and Playstudios.

Tactile Games: Anthony H. has joined the Lily’s Garden maker as a 2D game artist from Yuga Labs, where he was lead game artist. Tactile has also appointed former OpenGov and Domo software engineer Tyler Linquata as a backend engineer.

AppsFlyer: The marketing and analytics firm has appointed former Adjust senior account executive Nicolas Orozco as enterprise account executive.

Adjoe: The advertising and monetisation platform has hired Tejas Patil as demand partnerships manager, moving over from his role as business development manager at Avow.

CrazyLabs: Former Zinky Games senior level designer Ezgi Uyanıker has joined the Embracer-owned outfit as game level designer.

TIGA: The UK trade body has appointed four new board members, gamesindustry.biz reports. They are Hypixel Studios CEO Aaron Donaghey, Ubisoft UK corporate affairs manager Connor Crossland, Steel City Interactive head of HR Laura Treanor and Playground Games chief of staff Rebekah Simpson.

Pocket Worlds: The Highrise maker has hired Jude Moore as a senior producer for live operations. Moore was previously a development director at EA, lead producer at Activision, and most recently production lead at Misfits Gaming. Content creator Drew Kenady has also joined as senior software engineer.

Digital Bandidos: The indie publisher has hired Richard Iwaniuk as chief financial officer. He previously led finance and business development at BioWare, Electronic Arts and Intel. Former Epic Games, Sumo Digital and Telltale Games marketing director Richard Iggo has also come on board as head of marketing, and ex-gamesindustry.biz editor in chief James Batchelor has taken on the role of communications director.

Stash: After three and a half years as an ecommerce lead product manager at Blizzard, Meit Shah has joined the D2C web shop as principal product manager.

Next Games: The Netflix game studio has appointed Sia S. as player support lead. She was most recently player and creator experience lead at Noice, and previously worked in player support at Seriously.

Scopely: The Monopoly Go maker has promoted ex-IGG GTM operations manager Gabriele Simonetti from product strategy manager to AI solutions strategy manager.

Unity: The game engine maker has promoted Darina Bordan to growth partnerships manager, EMEA. Bordan joined Unity in 2022 and most recently served as client partner, head of market, EMEA.

Paxie Games: Former Joygame Publishing growth manager Tarık Kılıç is now senior product manager at the Turkish studio.
