Netflix: After a decade at Riot Games, including the last two years as VP of global marketing, Dan Sutton has joined the streaming giant as head of games marketing.
Bitkraft Ventures: The early-stage investor for games and interactive media has announced Danielle Tran as its newest principal. Tran joins from VC firm Konvoy, where she held the same postion for the last 4.5 years.

Cheer Games: This new Barcelona-based mobile game studio focused on casual titles, Game Developer reports. It’s headed up by CEO and co-founder Emre Gercel, who previously spent six years at Lion Studios, where he was most recently VP of business development and market intelligence. Cheer’s other co-founders are Berkay Ozturk (former director of design at Lion Studios), Kutay Koralturk (ex-product lead at Lion Studios), and Ertan Ünver (SuperMesh Games founder).
TikTok: Ex-Jagex and Blizzard marketing exec Deniz Kirca has joined the company’s gaming product marketing team. He was most recently head of publishing for PUBG Mobile at Tencent. And as spotted by GamingonPhone, the social media platform has promoted Yael Segal from the role of head of industry, gaming Americas, to the position of director, head of apps and gaming.
Roblox: The firm has appointed Vlad Loktev as chief creator ecosystem officer. The former Zynga senior product manager more recently spent a decade at Airbnb, where he served as GM and VP of product.

Mag Interactive: There are seven new appointments at the Swedish casual games firm. Its Stockholm studio has hired product manager Sofia Leine, senior software engineer Stefan Tscheppe, software developer Behzad Bakhti and UI artist Daniel Bienes. Mag’s Brighton studio has appointed office coordinator Scarlett Flynn-Pugh, level designer Jordan Scott, and environment and level designer Hamish Huxley.
Appcharge: Former Microsoft and Dropbox communications exec Nick Morris has joined the DTC platform for mobile game publishers as its head of communications. Ex-Moon Active business analyst team lead Michal Ronen has come on board as head of business analysis.
Sunday: The German hybridcasual publisher has hired former BestSecret ops leader Amirali Afshar as new head of business operations. Former senior M&A manager at TapNation Sarthak Joshi has also joined as M&A manager.

Unity: Rambod Kermanizadeh has been appointed as senior director of software engineering at the engine and adtech company. He’s been at the firm for nine years.
Altitude Games: Following 3.5 years as a consulting partner at Naavik, former League of Geeks senior game designer Jordan Phang has started a new role as design director at the Dream Defense, Zodiac Pop, and Run Run Super 5 maker.
Kohort: Former Unity client success specialist Kevin Jabbour has joined the revenue and user growth forecasting platform as head of customer success.
ZBD: The gaming payments platform firm has hired Nicole Diaz as senior vice president of product. She previously served as director of product at Tilia and CPO and CTO at ActivePDF.
Trailmix: The Love & Pies maker has appointed Danielle Elio as its new people and finance advisor. She joins from media company Global, where she served as people operations and data partner.
Paxie Games: Former Joygame Publishing growth manager Tarık Kılıç has been promoted to head of product at the Turkish studio.
MTG: As we reported last week, the Swedish roll-up firm has announced a raft of management changes as it splits its business into midcore and casual divisions. Plarium CEO Schraga Mor is exiting the company, and will be replaced by current chief product officer Oliver Bulloss.
Andy Watson is now Hutch CEO, moving over from his previous role as COO to replace Peter Hansen-Chambers, who is leaving the firm.
InnoGames co-founder Hendrik Klindworth has been appointed executive chairman of the midcore group, while Christian Reshöft has been promoted from chief product officer to CEO.
Former Product Madness, Crazy Labs and Playtika exec Yoav Ecker is now CEO of PlaySimple, and company co-founder Siddhanth Jain will leave at the end of the year.
