Scopely: The Monopoly Go firm has hired Marilyne Chasseur as director of performance marketing. She previously worked at Ubisoft, Socialpoint, and Carry1st. Meanwhile, Google vet Andrew Schimmel has joined as senior director of strategic partnerships. He previously spent over four years at the search and ads giant.
Trailmix: The Supercell-backed studio has hired Luke Boniface as a lead game engineer. He comes with nine years of experience at Wooga, where he worked in engineering roles, as well as having worked stints at Curve Studios and Gree.
Supercell: The Finnish mobile giant has promoted Vladislav P to community manager for Clash of Clans. He joined the firm in 2021 as a community manager for Clash Mini and Clash Heroes, having previously spent almost three years at Tencent Games leading community management, marketing and game operations.

FunPlus: The State of Survival maker has hired João Xavier as its new technical director. He joins from Ubisoft’s Massive studio, where he spent three years as lead gameplay programmer.
FunPlus has also made six new promotions: Eleanor Twilton Ben Youssef is now VP of global PR and comms, Frauke Grabow is the new HR VP in Europe, Eduardo Antoli Blanco is levelled up to senior motion graphic designer and Marc Martinez is appointed senior motion designer artist. Finally, Alyssa Tasya Putri is now legal counsel and Jing Jane Hu is promoted to translator and mid-level international project assistant.
Unity: The engine giant has promoted Farheen Bandeali to client partner manager. She has worked at Unity since 2016 across business development and partner management. The company has also hired Guy Yogev to its mobile-focused Supersonic publishing label as a game designer. He comes on board with experience in game design at Plarium.
Epic Games: Engie DeVora has returned to the Unreal Engine maker as its new talent acquisition sourcing lead. She previously worked at Epic between 2021 and 2022 as a senior technical recruiter, before leaving to joining Singularity 6, then moving onto Netflix’s games arm.

Fingersoft: The Finnish developer has appointed three new directors. Mikko Kirmanen has risen to director of growth, having previously worked as head of user acquisition. He joined Fingersoft in 2017. Jonathan Massey is the company’s new director of game products after leading the Hill Climb Racing 2 team for over three years, and Pasi Brännlund is promoted to new director of technology after eight years at the company.
Stillfront: Maria Hedengren and Lars-Johan Jarnheimer have been elected to the board of the Swedish roll-up group. Hedengren has worked at a variety of companies, including Readly and IZettle, Jarnheimer has over 40 years of experience in business following stints at H&M, Ikea and Egmont Group.
Sandsoft: Sandsoft has hired Javi San Juan as a lead game designer from Tripledot Studios, where he was senior game designer. Saad Alshmrani has also been brought on as a marketing artist from security company Safe.
Playtika: Amitay Ron has joined the Israeli developer as a game economy manager. He previously spent almost two years in the same role at Funzy Games.

Exient: The UK and Malta-based developer has promoted Jessica Fleur Zammit to senior game designer and George Stabler to senior QA tester.
Kakao: Korean games industry vet Sean Lee has been hired as the mobile publisher’s new head of business development. He joins from Volcano Diver, where he was CEO, and before that worked on Apple’s App Store.
Kokku Games: The co-development outfit has snapped up Diogo Vasconcelos as its new senior business development manager. He previously worked for over 11 years at his own studio, Nerd Monkeys, as well as working as an event organiser for the Portuguese show Game Dev Camp.
Xsolla: Gabriana Filice has joined the payments specialist as regional marketing manager for the company’s American business. She has previously worked in marketing and PR at several companies, including restaurant firm Inspire Brands.
Embracer Group: Johan Ekström is stepping down as the Swedish firm’s CFO and deputy CEO. The head of Embracer’s new Middle-earth Enterprises & Friends division, Phil Rogers, will be taking on his responsibilities as deputy CEO, while current deputy CFO, Müge Bouillon, is to be promoted to chief financial officer.
Sony Interactive Entertainment: PlayStation has named Hideaki Nishino and Hermen Hulst as its new CEOs. Nishino will head up the Platform Business Group, which is responsible for hardware and infrastructure like PlayStation Network, and Hulst will be CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Studio Business Group.
