Supercell: The Clash of Clans maker has appointed Sara Bach as its new president. She now heads up the firm’s live games unit, which includes business operations, marketing and community, people and game tech.
Supercell boss Ilkka Paananen described the move as “The next evolution of Supercell” on LinkedIn, and added that Bach will be “looking after the day-to-day operations of the company”.
Paananen said he’ll now focus on where he can ‘make the biggest impact’, and work with new games boss Drussila Hollanda “to bring an even more entrepreneurial, start-up like mindset to the new games side of Supercell.”

Netflix: David Duong has been hired as the streaming giant’s director of games product management. He was previously senior director of product management for Apex Legends at Respawn Entertainment, and senior brand manager for Hearthstone at Blizzard. Cyrus Hashtpari has also joined as head of global brand marketing for Netflix Games, moving from Scopely where they were director of brand and marketing. Max Baker has also taken on a finance and strategy, growth and monetisation role at Netflix Games. He joins from Duolingo.
Scopely: After five years as general manager of EA Sports FC Mobile, Lawrence Koh has joined Scopely as senior VP and general manager. The firm has also appointed Chris Casanova as an executive producer on its Marvel Strike Force team. Casanova’s previous roles include principal producer at Hypixel Studios, head of interactive at Misfits Gaming Group, and director of live and product at Relic.
Stillfront: Former Acast CFO and deputy CEO Emily Villatte has joined the Swedish roll-up firm as group chief financial officer. She replaces interim group CFO Tim Holland, who has resumed his position as deputy group CFO.
Playtika: The Israeli developer and publisher has hired Gadi Shoshani as VP of marketing strategy. He was previously VP of marketing and casual studio manager at Murka.

TikTok: After five and a half years as user acquisition manager at Raid: Shadow Legends maker Plarium, Noa Yoahimik Baha has joined the social media platform as gaming client solution manager.
Unity: The engine maker has hired Steve Ganem as its new VP of product for IAP and engine data. The SuperVillain Studios co-founder most recently spent over a decade as director of product management at Google Analytics.
Paramount: The media and entertainment company has appointed Dan Prigg as EVP and head of games. The former Scopely executive producer joins from Skydance Interactive, where he was executive vice president, head of studio.
Beach Bum/Voodoo: The French games firm has promoted Yuval Dor from GM to CEO of Voodoo-owned studio Beach Bum. He has also previously worked at Playtika as executive general manager and Moon Active as GM.
EA: Having joined the company as an account manager for mobile platforms back in 2011, Greg Brandmeier has worked his way up to the role of EA’s vice president of business development.

Miniclip: The Tencent-owned developer and publisher has hired Jack Livingstone as business development manager. He was previously publishing and business development manager at 22cans. Oliver Tranfield has also been appointed by the company, taking on the role of senior lead of communications and employer brand. He joins following eight years at TMP Worldwide. Former TapNation staffer Sufian Ahmad has also joined Miniclip as Unity marketing developer.
Epic Games: The Fortnite maker has appointed Andre Balta as senior director for ecosystem growth. He has been with the company for six years, and most recently served as director of publishing and IP development. Isaac Knowles has also been promoted from senior to principal data analyst, ecosystem security. Melanie de Arakal has been promoted from senior paid media manager to paid media director.
Lego: The Danish toy giant has appointed Rohini Sarkar as senior manager, research and insights for Lego Digital Play. The former King player research and insight lead was most recently head of games research EMEA for Netflix.
Trailmix Games: The Love & Pies maker has appointed Rachael Grant as marketing lead. The marketing veteran has previously worked at Big Fish Games, King, Activision, Ubisoft, Eidos and more.
Pragma: The publishing tools platform has hired Ernie Le as VP of games business development. He previously spent six years as Twitch’s director of game publisher and developer partnerships, and was most recently collectibles category lead at Walmart Marketplace.
Formation Games: The independent sports game studio has hired Jesper Andrell as lead UI/UX designer. He previously spent 17 years at Football Manager maker Sports Interactive, and more recently had spells at Cowlabs and Matchday. Former Matchday growth marketing director Nasrin Chou has also joined Formation Games as head of performance marketing.
Behold Ventures: The Nordics gaming VC fund has appointed Ali Farha to help drive future fundraising and support portfolio production. He recently spent five years as senior technical producer at Star Stable Entertainment and is also head of education at Futuregames Warsaw.
Neon: The payments and ecommerce platform has hired Mukul Chawla as head of payments. He previously spent seven years at Amazon, including four as GM and head of product, consumer payments for Southeast Asia.
Lion Studios: The Tripledot-owned studio has appointed former TapNation UA manager Alexandra Pavlovskaya as growth analyst.
AviaGames: The mobile skill-based gaming platform has established a new subsidiary in Hamburg, Germany, headed by former Bigpoint CEO Michelle Zou.
Gameloft: The company’s Barcelona studio has appointed Joaquín Estevan Perez as principal activation manager. He joins following a decade at Spanish esports organisation Liga de Videojuegos Profesional.
Critical Force: Company founder and chairman of the board Veli-Pekka Piirainen has returned to the role of CEO three years after he last held it. He replaces former CEO Miikka Lehtonen, who has taken over the position of chief product officer at the Critical Ops maker.
Appcharge: The DTC platform for mobile game publishers has appointed Joe Li Tao as director of sales, China. They join from Xsolla, where they were most recently head of business development, Greater China Region.
