Supercell: The Clash of Clans maker has a new director of platform partnerships: Rosalind Schaub. She joins Supercell from Rovio, where she was director of product marketing, having also previously served in a similar role at EA Mobile. Prior to that Schaub was at King for nearly 15 years, most recently as associate director of global platform partnerships.
Rovio: The Angry Birds maker has appointed Hanna Valkeapää-Nokkala as transmedia VP. She rejoins Rovio after leaving her role as senior director and head of brand licensing in September 2023, and has also previously worked across various roles in TV and film.

Trailmix: Former Ubisoft London (FKA Future Games of London) product marketing manager Ahmed Allam has joined Trailmix as product marketing manager.
New to the Love & Pies maker’s Berlin office is former Wooga and Ten Square Games artist Volha Fedarenka-Habrus, who is appointed senior artist.
Thomas Clifton has also joined the firm’s London office as senior game developer, having previously worked at BuildVR, Stick Sports and Headstart. Former Unity workplace experience person Jodie Barba has also joined as office manager, and Valeriia Kaleva has been appointed player experience specialist.
Xsolla: SuperScale’s global partnerships director Michal Bujko has moved to Xsolla to take up the role of senior business development manager within its funding wing. He’s also previously worked at Pollen VC, Digital Dragons and more.

Flexion: Two new hires at the distribution and marketing firm: Ubisoft London/Future Games of London’s former senior marketing manager Giorgia La Rocca is now head of game marketing, and former Sega sales exec and Nintendo account manager Joe Bonnici has joined as channel lead.
Play Ventures: The VC firm has appointed Joe Burridge as its head of talent. He joins having previously served in recruitment at Space Ape, Epic Games, EA and others.
Hutch: The UK-based studio has promoted Peter Hansen-Chambers as co-CEO, and will now lead the company alongside Shaun Rutland.
Sandsoft: Jose Ignacio Montes Cobos has been appointed lead game designer, moving to Sandsoft after ten years at Socialpoint. He served in multiple senior design and management roles at Socialpoint, and his credits include Monster Legends, Dragon Land and Tasty Town.
Alaa Hatata joins Sandsoft as game programmer, having racked up experience working for companies including CGEVO Limitless Innovation, 5DVR and UMX Studio.

Appnava: GameRefinery’s former head of new business for EMEA and Americas Aysu Yildiz is now VP of sales at analytics firm Appnava. She has also previously worked at MobileAction and OpsGenie.
Eyeball Games: The studio formed by the creators of 8 Ball Pool has appointed former Ludia designer Pierre-Etienne Colin as motion designer. Bimanda Dharma Sahara has also joined as brand designer from design agency Avocado.
52 Entertainment: Former Unity leader Vincent Tessier has been appointed chief marketing officer at the maker of Virtual Regatta and several other bridge and card games.
Tessier previously led Unity ads monetisation for the EMEA region and worked on the global launch of Unity Mediation, as well as the ad network’s bidding capabilities. He’s also previously worked at MoPub, Adsquare, AOL and LaPlaceMedia.
