Supercell: Mark Linington has joined Supercell’s growing US-based team as game artist and designer. He joins from Blizzard, where he was lead environment artist on Overwatch 2, and he has previously worked at Final Strike Games, Midwinter Entertainment and Amazon on the Grand Tour and New World.

The Supercell USA team, led by Ryan Wener, also includes ex-Rioters Maya Kylmamaa, Charles Lee and Kevin Bray, plus Supercell veteran Rebecca Green.

Tactile Games: Four new faces at the Lily’s Garden maker this month. Ecem Altun Kımıllı joins as product manager from the same role at Tile Busters maker Spyke Games. Maciej Cyranowicz is appointed senior game programmer, joining from Code Club, and Benhür Uygur, former artist at Rollic, Ace Games and Dream Games joins from Dream Games as 2D game artist. Asım Öztürk has also been appointed senior level designer, and joins from Magic Games, where he was product specialist. He was also previously level designer at Peak.

Gram Games: Four new folks joined the Merge Dragons maker in the last few months. Stefan Ilina is Gram’s new QA manager, and joins from Ubisoft London (formerly FGOL). Ex-Mediatonic, Hutch and Tripledot artist Jing Tan is appointed lead technical artist, Kamil Zerek is now prinicipal QA engineer, and brings with him experience from Weird Fish, NaturalMotion and Testronic, and Emir Yaman Sivrikaya joins as game development intern.

Xsolla: Gamesbeat reported last week that the payments firm has reshuffled its leadership a little. Former Epic Games executive David Stelzer is now president of Xsolla, and Chris Hewish, formerly interim CEO, is now chief strategy officer. Shurick Agapitov, Xsolla’s founder, remains CEO.

Plunge Games Group: This is a new game consultancy staffed by a raft of mobile game industry veterans. The team includes ex-Playtika folks Yoni Ushin and Dvir Ackerman, King and EA veteran Ishai Shamir, ex-King and Scopely product lead Pamela G. Cassan Kowiensky, former Playtika, Ten Square and CrazyLabs game economist Ariel Krieger, GSN, Ten Square, Huuuge Games and Tripledot veteran Priyank Badkul and Appniss and PlayGem founder Gil Tal.

Lucky Kat: The Fragbite-owned publisher has confirmed that its recently-appointed CEO Christian Batist has stepped down, after both parties agreed “the appointment was not the right fit”. Batist has been replaced with Zara Zaman, who is now acting CEO. She joins from VR platform Neoki, which she cofounded. Zamani has been a member of the Fragbite Group board since May 2022.

Adinmo: Former Verasity, Vieworks, Stakester and NinaData leader John Rankin has joined Adinmo as its new chief revenue officer. He had previously served as Adinmo’s chief commercial officer and on the company’s board.

Aghanim: As we reported last week, this new start-up has been formed by three former Xsolla execs with investment from Bessemer Venture Partners, QED Investors, Point72 Ventures, and A16z Games Speedrun. Its founders are former Xsolla CEO and CTO Konstantin Golubitsky, ex-Xsolla Labs CEO Constantin Andry and Albert Tugushev, former Xsolla Labs CTO.

Funplus: The State of Survival maker has added motion graphic artist intern Eva Garcia to its team in Barcelona.

Galaxy Interactive: Cole Mora is now VP and chief of staff at the venture fund, having joined as investor and chief of staff in January 2022.
