BebopBee: Three former Seriously folks have re-emerged at Travel Crush maker BebopBee this week after the firm, founded by former TinyCo, Zynga and Jam City veterans Rajeev Nagpal and Cristian Zanier, raised a new funding round.
This week’s $4m round was led by Bitkraft, Courtside, Andover and Goal, plus angels Akin Babayigit (Tripledot), Affan Butt (Aream) and Charles Chapman (First Touch Games).
Tess Thormodsgaard, formerly VP of marketing at Seriously, has joined as BebopBee’s new head of marketing. Thormodsgaard has also previously worked for Maker Studios, which was acquired by Disney.

Robert Parviainen joins as data science VP, having previously built the data science team at Seriously.
Completing the trio of ex-Seriously folks is its former cofounder and CEO Andrew Stalbow, who joins as an advisor. Stalbow has previously served is senior roles at Rovio and 20th Century Fox.
Super Evil Megacorp: Three new faces at Kristian Segerstrale’s outfit this week, joining just after the release of Apple Arcade title TMNT Splintered Fate and the recent announcement it is involved in a bold crossmedia project with Netflix.
Jean Go joins as associate art director from AutoAttack Games, where she was art director. Go has also served as an artist and concept artist at Riot and Molten Games.

Mattias Van Lierde joins as technical art director, moving from Ubisoft where he was technical art director in the firm’s Dusseldorf office. Van Lierde was also previously senior technical artist at Playerunknown Productions and Ubisoft Reflections.
Margaret Santiago-Turner has also joined Super Evil Megacorp as lead producer from Big Run studios. Prior to that Santiago-Turner worked in production at Zynga for seven years, and has also held roles at Capcom and PlayStation.
FunPlus: The State of Survival maker has hired Yuhan Chen as community manager at its new Barcelona office. Chen joins from comms firm Ourpalm, where she handled community matters for SLG Games.

Fortis Games: The San Francisco-based developer, founded by former WB, EA and Zynga exec Steven Chiang and ex-WB exec and Pixelchat boss Shawn Foust, has hired Taylor Westfall as director of QA.
Westfall joins from Netflix where he was head of QA for external games. He has also previously served in QA roles at Amazon and Blizzard.
Bidstack: The in-game ad firm has hired Chris Vincelli as VP of enterprise partnerships. Vincelli joins from Anzu, where he was VP of publishing, and has previously held roles at roles at Vungle, Verizon Media and Yahoo.
Last Games: The Turkish studio has hired Kami Genç as head of growth. He joins from digital marketing firm Organiclick.
