Mistplay: Jason Heller has stepped up to become the rewards platform’s CEO. Heller was previously chief growth officer, having joined the firm in 2022. Current CEO and founder Henri-Charles Machalani’s official title will now be simply founder, and remain an active board member advising the company on strategy and growth.

The former CEO of Match Group Amarnath Thombre also joins Mistplay’s board of directors, and will now be working with Heller and the Mistplay leadership to continue the firm’s growth.

Layer: Unity’s bizdev and partnerships lead Burcu Ozcengiz has joined Layer, an AI game assets company. She is now bizdev VP at the firm after over five years in various developer-facing roles at Unity.

Pragma: The backend game engine company has hired Chris Uglietta as its new head of product and brand marketing. Uglietta moves from his role as gaming marketing lead at Data.ai, and has previously worked at Zynga as group lead product marketing manager.

Flick Games: Sharon Lau has joined the Flick Solitaire maker as chief of staff. Lau has a mix of management consulting and in-house strategy experience, having previously worked at Lynk Global and PWC.

Sandsoft Games: Former Rollic 3D artist Ahmet Mustafa Farghali has joined Sandsoft as senior game artist. He’s also previously worked at Arsh Game Studio and Enrich Games.

Unlock Games: Anton Slashcev, Arkadiy Kulikov and Arthur Dvurechenskiy announced that Cyprus-based studio Unlock Games has closed. Ex-Playrix producer Slashev said on LinkedIn that during Unlock Games’ two and a half years of operation, at its peak it had a team of almost 50 and had released games including Become a Queen, Detective Masters, Elite Art Academy, Story of Survival and Escape from School.

Moloco: The DSP has added Eoin Greensmyth to its app growth team as senior sales rep. He joins from Google, where he worked with game developers as industry manager and key enterprise account manager.

Miniclip: The 8 Ball Pool publisher has promoted Adam Araim to data analyst.
