Here are the top mobile game downloads from last month, according to Appmagic data.
Appmagic’s estimates do not include numbers from China’s fractured Android market. There’s also commentary on June’s most notable trends from the top 20 and beyond below.
In between these monthly updates, you can also keep tabs on Appmagic’s top grossing and top downloads charts here.

Block Blast has been the most downloaded game in the world since December, but was knocked off the top spot by Roblox last month.
The UGC platform’s rise coincides with the usual bump in downloads from the summer school holidays, but also the phenomenon that is Grow A Garden. 36.9m is by far Roblox’s best-ever monthly download total, up on June’s total, also a record-breaker.
It’s a third straight month-on-month decline in monthly downloads for Block Blast, though, which peaked back in April. Compare the year-on-year numbers, though, and July 2025’s total of over 26m installs is still way up on July 2024’s total of 14.8m, so we doubt anyone at Hungry Studios is panicking.

After several months racking up around 16m installs, Subway Surfers saw an uptick to over 18m in July, again likely due to the summer holidays kicking in.
But the big surprise for July was Chinese studio Learnings’ Tile Explorer, which leapt up 17 spots to hit fourth place last month. Subtitled ‘Triple Match’, it’s one of many tile match puzzlers to have emerged in the last few years, and certainly the one to have made the largest impact in the charts.
The other contenders in the genre seem to be more consistent, slow burners, but this one has jumped into the top ten after picking up steam in May. 20% of its downloads in the last month were from India, by far this game’s biggest market.

Pizza Ready is down a little month-on-month but still showing no signs of slowing, having racked up 11-15m installs every month for about a year.
Outfit7 scores a big new entry in sixth with My Talking Tom Friends 2, which racked up over 14m downloads having been released halfway through the month.
And Vita Mahjong’s steady rise continued in July, reaching a best-ever monthly download total of over 14m and hitting seventh spot. That one’s been scaling fast since May.
Top ten regulars Ludo King and Free Fire each posted roughly the same numbers as in June, while Dream Games’ Royal Kingdom continued its rapid rise, posting a best-ever monthly total of over 11m installs. As we reported a few months back, the Turkish studio spent big money on a celebrity ad campaign in the spring.
July’s top mobile game downloads: 11-20
11. Free Fire Max (Garena): 11.2m
12. Music Piano 7: Rush Song Games (Melodya Muses): 11.1m
13. PUBG Mobile (Tencent): 10.9m
14. Moto Race Go (Xgame Studio): 10.7m
15. Hole.io (Voodoo): 10.6m
16. Candy Crush Saga (King): 10.4m
17. Royal Match (Dream Games): 9.9m
18. Tile Club – Match Puzzle Game (GameVation): 9.8m
19. EA Sports FC Mobile (EA): 9.7m
20. My Talking Tom 2 (Outfit7): 9.6m
Outside the top ten, it’s worth noting that Melodya Muses’ Music Piano 7 has dropped off from last month when it broke the top ten with over 14m installs – July’s total is a more modest 11m. Similarly, casual driving game Moto Race Go falls four spots month-on-month, while Voodoo’s Hole.io is down to posting 10m monthly installs after a couple of months just over 12m.
Match 3 rivals Candy Crush Saga and Royal Match are each up six places month-on-month, while there’s another tile matching game rising quickly in 18th spot, GamoVation’s Tile Club.
Outside the top 20, a new Supercent title, Lumber Chopper, is in 24th place with 8.7m installs in July, and Gossip Harbor downloads suddenly leapt up in July, pushing Microfun’s merge game up 75 places into 42nd with 7.4m installs in July.
