Here are last month’s top grossing mobile games based on in-app purchase earnings, according to Appmagic data.
These IAP estimates do not include ad revenue, web shop spend, Apple and Google’s 30% cut or revenue from China’s Android ecosystem.
There’s commentary on which way the biggest earners are trending, and other interesting tidbits from the top 20 and beyond below.
In between these monthly updates, you can keep tabs on Appmagic’s top grossing and top downloads charts anytime here.

A month-on-month earnings drop of $40m might alarm some game-makers, but we can’t imagine there’s any panic at Tencent over last month’s numbers; Honor of Kings remains number one in the top grossing chart despite IAP revenue falling from $184m in May to $143m in June.
Despite that drop, Tencent’s MOBA is still a good $15m ahead of nearest rivals Whiteout Survival and LastWar, which continue to fight it out for the runner-up spot.
The data suggests these two are closer than ever by monthly earnings – Whiteout Survival came out in second for June by earning about $600k more than LastWar, says Appmagic.

Royal Match is in fourth once more, dipping a little month-on-month to under $120m for the first time since June 2024.
Monopoly Go earned an estimated $100m-ish in IAP for Scopely for the third straight month, while King’s Candy Crush Saga dipped under the $100m mark for the first time since its big earnings blip in February, though it is still broadly trending upwards.
PUBG Mobile is another game that took a notable earnings drop in June, down from ~$120m in May to ~$94m in June. It had been earning over $115m every month since January.

Pokémon Go had a great month, though. It earned new owner Scopely over $62m in IAP, up dramatically from May’s total of ~$35m thanks to a community day on June 21 and Pokémon Go Fest on June 28-29.
Fellow Pokémon game TCG Pocket dropped quite a bit month-on-month, though. IAP earnings fell from ~$81m in May to ~$56m last month, with a lack of compelling new card packs likely to blame. Moon Active’s Coin Master was fairly steady, though, maintaining its top ten spot with another monthly earnings total of around $55m.
June’s top grossing mobile games: 11-20
11. Genshin Impact (Mihoyo): $48.8m
12. Gossip Harbor (Microfun): $44.2m
13. Roblox (Roblox Corp): $39.2m
14. Kingshot (Diandian): $37.3m
15. Clash Royale (Supercell): $36m
16. Gardenscapes (Playrix): $34.8m
17. Township (Playrix): $34.3m
18. Love and Deepspace (Paper Games): $33.7m
19. Zenless Zone Zero (Mihoyo): $33.3m
20. Wuthering Waves (Kuro): $31.9m
Genshin Impact’s surging earnings pushed it up the rankings 12 places month-on-month in June, as IAP revenue jumped up from ~$28m in May to ~$49m in June.
Gossip Harbor revenue continues to climb month-on-month – June’s $44m-ish is another record. And Roblox’s baffling iOS revenue wipeout has continued for another month – it was earning around $100m before, but is now earning ‘just’ $40m-ish every month based on earnings from Google Play only.

Diandian’s second big hit, Kingshot, is rising fast, up 13 places month-on-month with $37m earned from IAP. Clash Royale also saw a healthy month-on-month boost, up nine places to ~$35m in IAP earnings for June – its best month since way back in December 2021.
A couple of other titles have made a comeback, too. Zenless Zone Zero more than tripled its monthly IAP earnings month-on-month, rising 71 places, while Wuthering Waves is up 15 spots, having added about $10m to its IAP earnings last month.
Outside the top 20, Brawl Stars is fading after that much-talked about comeback, down from earning about $40 in May to just under $25m last month.
Royal Kingdom’s IAP revenue continues to rise after that big ad campaign, up from ~$20m in May to just under $25m last month (it’s now in 28th spot, up 13 places month-on-month).
New in 33rd place is Cygames’ Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond with $22m earned in June, mostly from Japan.
And just to add to the narrative that Mihoyo’s games are constantly cannibalising each other, while Genshin Impact’s earnings rocketed in June, Honkai Star Rail saw a big decline, down from $38m in May to $19m in June.
