King to launch Candy Crush Solitaire on February 6

King is launching a new spin on its Candy Crush formula next month.

Candy Crush Solitaire is coming to iOS devices on February 6, according to an announcement on Apple’s App Store. King also confirmed to us that it is coming to Android at the same time. It’s open for pre-reg now on both stores.

Candy Crush Solitaire has been in beta on the Google Play store in Canada and Philippines only since July 2023, according to Appmagic.

King describes the game on its product page as “the perfect solitaire experience that combines the best features of classic TriPeaks patience games with the playful yet challenging Candy Crush Saga inspired blockers, and boosters”.

It also says players will be able to “decorate beautiful postcards from Hawaii, Paris, Japan, and beyond” while progressing through the game.

“Train your brain and keep your mind sharp by challenging yourself with exciting levels to win candylicious rewards,” it continues. “Candy Crush Solitaire is a fun and challenging solitaire card game for all types of players,” it goes on.

“Join iconic Candy Crush Saga characters in a delicious journey around the world, creating lovely postcards on the way. Relax and immerse yourself in Candy Crush Solitaire’s beautiful game graphics, animations and design!”

As we’ve reported previously, King has been experimenting with its flagship brand in soft launch, with Candy Crush 3D also releasing in limited markets back in December 2023. It had also previously soft launched kart racer Rebel Riders, but that game appears to have been cancelled.
