Apple and Google have both waved clones of hit Steam game Lethal Company through app review and onto their stores.
The coop horror game has been a huge hit on Steam since it was released in early access in October 2023. It is developed by Zeekerss, a Roblox creator and now indie game developer, which has not said anything publicly about a mobile edition of the game.
Lethal Company is estimated to have sold around 10m copies on Steam, grossing nearly $80m.

One Android clone, Lethal Company: Mobile Horror, has over 100,000 downloads and nearly 5,000 reviews, according to its product page. It is developed by AlexKos Dev, a company with no other titles on Google Play. It is also rated E for everyone, despite being a horror game.
On iOS, a straight clone of the game is in pre-order now and is set for release tomorrow, February 9, according to its product page. It is developed by Aytac Kahveci, a developer with no other releases on iOS to date. Its provider is listed as ‘Double Cleaning LLC’ and is age rated for players nine and above.

Both games appear to have ripped assets directly from Lethal Company’s Steam page.
Another Android clone, Lethal Company: Horror Mobile, has over 10,000 downloads, according to Google Play, as does Lethal Corp Company: Mobile.
Last week, we reported on a similar situation with Palworld clones after its developer Pocketpair had to publicly clarify that it has not released a mobile edition, and any that do slip through Apple and Google’s review process are clones.
