Here are the top mobile game downloads from last month, according to Appmagic data.
Appmagic’s estimates do not include numbers from China’s fractured Android market. There’s also commentary on March’s most notable trends from the top 20 and beyond below.
In between these monthly updates, you can also keep tabs on Appmagic’s top grossing and top downloads charts here.

Block Blast’s incredible run continues at the top of the download charts – it racked up more than double the number of downloads of its nearest contender Roblox.
How is the Chinese studio doing it? Hungry Studio VP Jason Wang told us in January that it is UA spend and the firm’s ‘obsession’ with A/B testing. As of December 2024, Block Blast had over 40m DAU and 160m MAU across iOS and Android, the firm told us. Appmagic says lifetime downloads now stand at a whopping 465.4m since the game first launched in March 2022, with the scaling starting in earnest in January 2023.
March was a pretty typical month for regular top performers Roblox, Subway Surfers, and Garena’s Free Fire, and it seems we can now start putting Supercent’s Pizza Ready in that same category. It is remarkably consistent, having racked up 10-11m monthly downloads ever since August 2024, and is up two spots in the rankings.

This month’s surprise, slightly random viral hit is Android-only Mincecraft-alike Craft Block World Building, which suddenly racked up over 11m downloads last month. Developer SuroboyoStar appears to be based in Indonesia, though after some light Googling details are scarce – the developer website on the Google Play store is a blog entitled ‘8 questions to test attraction to women or men’ so we’re not sure what’s going on there. Top markets for this one are Indonesia, Brazil, Mexico, Turkey and India.
Also new in the top ten is I Am Security, which has risen 27 places to hit seventh spot. Released halfway through February, it has already generated a total of over 18m downloads, with 11.4 of those in March. Developer is Estoty is based in Cyprus, and seems to have hit on a formula of sorts with its “I Am” games – it also released I Am Cat last month, which has racked up over 10m installs to date and is in 13th spot.

Gametion’s Ludo King has returned to the top ten after a lengthy dip in monthly downloads that started in October 2024 – it was previously a fixture in the top ten.
In ninth spot, there’s another variant on the ‘no wifi mini game collection’ idea that first broke out last summer with JindoBlu’s Offline Games. This one’s called No WiFi – Relaxing Arcade Games and has a very similar icon to all the others (Last month’s version of this game was called 100+ Offline Games).
Voodoo’s Hole.io completes the top ten, maintaining a download surge that started last summer, pushing typical monthly downloads up from around 3-4m to 9-10m since September 2024.

This month’s ASO award winner is FPS Strike Ops: Modern Arena from a developer called FPS Shooter & Action Game. It seems to be working: the game has risen up six spots to 12th.
As mentioned above, Estoty’s I Am Cat enters at 13, while Rollic’s new puzzler Color Block Jam continues to scale, up 11 places month-on-month.
TapBlaze’s Good Coffee, Great Coffee is up 791 places month-on-month having launched right at the end of February, while Candy Crush Saga drops out of the top 20 downloads for the first time in memory, despite seeing a slight rise in downloads month-on-month.
Elsewhere, a couple of last month’s viral hits have dropped significantly, with 100+ Offline Games down 13 places and 456 Run Challenge dropping 26 places.
