Arknights: Endfield (Gryphline)

The first gameplay for the mobile version of this action RPG was showcased during the iPhone 17 segment of Apple’s September showcase. The event was also used to confirm an early 2026 launch window for the game, which is in development for PS5 and PC too.

Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra (Bandai Namco)

This free-to-play 4v4 team battle game is out now on mobile, Steam, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch.

September’s Apple Arcade games

Headlining this month’s Apple Arcade update is New Star Games’ NFL Retro Bowl ’26. It lets players manage and play as all the real teams and players from the NFL, which are reproduced in a retro pixel art style.

Also new to the subscription service is Frosty Pop’s Jeopardy Daily, which challenges players to answer questions from the writers behind the long-running game show. The third title is Outfit7’s My Talking Tom Friends+.

Free Epic Games Store titles

This week’s free Epic Games Store titles are Monument Valley 2 and The Battle of Polytopia. They are both free to download for all users of the Epic Games Store for mobile, which is available worldwide for Android and in the EU only on iOS.

Heartopia (XD Games)

This cosy Animal Crossing-like game coming to PC and mobile in 2026.

Neo Cab (Fellow Traveller)

Originally released on Apple Arcade, PC and consoles in 2019, this cyberpunk taxi detective game is now available on iOS devices, priced at $5.99.

Ragnarok M: Classic Global (Gravity Interactive)

This mobile reimagining of the classic MMORPG Ragnarok Online has launched globally, with full cross-platform play across iOS, Android and PC.

Aerial Havoc (FunPlus)

This dogfighting game sees players piloting advanced warplanes across procedurally generated battlefields. It’s soft launched on Android in Malaysia and the Philippines, according to Appmagic.

Kingshot (Century Games)

Mirroring its previous approach with Whiteout Survival, Niko Partners reports that Century Games has launched 4X title Kingshot on the WeChat Mini Game platform in China, ahead of its distribution via app stores.

The research firm recently said that mini games – which can be played instantly, without download, typically within social media platforms – account for almost 10% of total player spending on games in China.
