Coin Master – Board Adventure (Moon Active)

The minds behind Coin Master appear to be taking on Monopoly Go with this one, which itself is Scopely’s big-brand version of Coin Master.

So it’ll be fascinating to see if this one can take a bite out of Monopoly Go’s earnings. It’s still some way off, though, having just soft launched on Android in the Philippines, according to Appmagic.

Age of Empires: Survival (Level Infinite)

This new take on Microsoft’s strategy series is set in the medieval era and seemingly inspired by Last War: Survival. It’s soft launched on Google Play in the US and Puerto Rico, according to Appmagic.

My Talking Tom Friends 2 (Outfit7)

This virtual pet adventure is the sequel to one of 2024’s most downloaded games. It’s available worldwide now on iOS and Android.

August’s Apple Arcade games include Worms Across Worlds

Four more games will join Apple Arcade on August 7. Headlining next month’s update to the subscription service is Worms Across Worlds, the latest entry in Team17’s classic strategic turn-based action series.

It will be joined by Play-Doh World from Scary Beasties, Ponos Corporation’s 3D block-blasting puzzle game Let’s Go Mightycat!, and Everybody Shogi, a strategy game based on the traditional Japanese board game, from AltPlus.

Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game (Netflix)

This co-op action game is set in the sci-fi universe of Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon film franchise. It’s available now on Android and iOS, exclusively for Netflix subscribers.

Cozy Coast (InnoGames)

Combining an island adventure story with merge and renovation mechanics, InnoGames says Cozy Coast is due to launch globally this year. Pre-registration on the App Store and Google Play is now available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with more regions to follow soon.

Tiles Survive (FunPlus)

Tiles Survive is a strategy-survival game that’s now available worldwide on Android and iOS, after a relatively short soft launch.

Pool City – 8 Ball (Level Infinite)

Appmagic says this latest contender for 8 Ball Pool’s crown is now in soft launch on Google Play in Australia, Canada, China, Indonesia, Mexico and the Philippines. The iOS version is available in Indonesia and the Philippines too.

Foundation: Galactic Frontier (FunPlus)

Pre-registration for this sci-fi strategy game, which is inspired by Isaac Asimov’s Foundation series, is now available on iOS. Having already soft launched on Android, the title will be released globally later in 2025.

Wheels of Aurelia (Santa Ragione)

Apple is planning to delist this 2016 release from the App Store on July 25 without “clear justification”, its publisher has told Eurogamer.

The iPhone maker reportedly cited its “policy to remove apps deemed ‘obsolete’ or ‘outdated'” during correspondence with Santa Ragione, which countered that the game remains “fully functional and compliant with current technical standards”.

Wheels of Aurelia is a narrative road trip game set in 1970s Italy. Normally priced at $4.99, it’s now been made free on iOS to ensure “as many people as possible can experience this work before its removal”.

Ragnarok M: Classic Global (Gravity Interactive)

Having attracted over 3m registered players in Asia, this MMORPG is gearing up to launch in the west, with a closed beta “coming soon”. Pre-registration is now open on Google Play and the App Store, with the latter listing an expected September 3 release date.

Goddess Order (Kakao Games)

This side-scrolling action-RPG is now in soft launch in Malaysia, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia, ahead of a planned global release.

Dragonheir: Silent Gods (Level Infinite)

This open-world dark fantasy RPG has relaunched globally for mobile and PC. It promises easier progression, richer strategy, overhauled combat, and redesigned season gameplay, among other features.
