New game digest: Fortnite(!) plus fresh titles from Hoyoverse, Azra, Mattel, Voodoo, Miniclip, CrazyLabs and more

Fortnite (Epic Games Sweden)

Tim Sweeney promised in the aftermath of the Epic vs Apple ruling last week that Fortnite would return to the US App Store ‘this week’.

At the time of writing, it’s not live yet, but it is expected at some point later today or over the weekend. Sweeney has previously stated on X that the game would be released through its Epic Games Sweden account, which was created to enable the launch of the Epic Games Store in the EU.

New Honkai game (Hoyoverse)

A brand new Honkai game was announced via a teaser trailer at a recent Honkai: Star Rail concert. There’s no word on platforms or a release date yet.

Ungodly (Azra Games)

Azra Games, the Sacramento-based studio that plays home to a number of Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes veterans, has announced the title of its debut game.

Ungodly is a dark fantasy character-collector RPG set for a full reveal this autumn, ahead of a winter release on iOS, Google Play and PC.

June on Apple Arcade: UNO, Lego, more

Five more games will be added to Apple Arcade on June 5. They include Mattel’s card game UNO: Arcade Edition and Fingersoft’s exploration, racing and building title Lego Hill Climb Adventures+.

They’ll be joined by Snapbreak Games’ point-and-click adventure Lost in Play+, Voodoo’s arcade bouncing game Helix Jump+, and a new spatial version of Triband’s What the Car? for Apple Vision Pro.

The latest free Epic Games Store title on mobile is Mr Racer: Premium, from developer Chennai Games and publisher StoreRider. The supercar racing title is available to claim until May 15, on Android worldwide and on iOS in the EU.

Puzzling.com (Miniclip)

This puzzle game offers players new challenges daily including Crossword, Sudoku and Word Search. It’s currently testing on Google Play in the UK, according to Appmagic.

Pixel Gun 2 (Cubic Games)

This newly announced arena shooter sequel is expected to be released on iOS, Android and Steam in early 2026.

Coffee Mania (CrazyLabs)

This hybridcasual puzzle game sees players sorting cups and matching colours to help keep a coffee shop running smoothly.

Cornhole Hero (Pixeljam)

This minimalist arcade bag throwing game is available now on the App Store and Google Play.

Pick Me Pick Me (Optillusion)

This is billed as the first online PvP AI-assisted speed dating game. It’s coming to PC, iOS and Android, with a Steam early access release planned for May 28.

Hexanomics: Battle Number Game (AppLovin)

Appmagic has a Google Play listing for this strategy puzzle game, which challenges players to build a fortune and outsmart rival tycoons.

Infinity Bullets (Hexadrive)

This multi-directional shoot ’em up will hit the App Store and Google Play this summer, Gematsu reports.
