‘Egg boy is slippery…?’ (NetEase)
Chinese games giant NetEase appears to be lining up a new Eggy Party title for China. It looks like a match-and-decorate game, and amusingly Google translate says the Chinese title – 蛋仔滑滑 – translates as ‘Egg boy is slippery’. There aren’t many English language details, but Appmagic has its release date as September 27.
Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket (The Pokémon Company)
Pre-registrations for this new entry in the iconic CCG series are now live on Google Play and Android, PocketGamer.biz reports. The game is set to be launched on October 30.
Dark and Darker Mobile (Krafton)
Pre-registration is now live for this fantasy extraction game on iOS and Android. There’s no word on an official release date, but there is a pre-launch test live on Android until August 25.
Monument Valley 3 (Netflix)
As we reported earlier this week, Netflix will be home to the next entry in Ustwo’s classic mobile puzzle series. Monument Valley 3 is coming to both iOS and Android via the Netflix app on December 10 – find out more about the making of the game and what’s next for Ustwo through the link.
Netflix also confirmed that Monument Valley 1 is coming to the service on September 19, and Monument Valley 2 is coming on October 29.
Squid Game: Unleashed (Netflix)
The dystopian Korean series is coming to mobile devices as a dark 32-player party title. It was revealed through the above trailer during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live this week, and is set to release later this year on Netflix.
More new games coming to Netflix
Two new titles are out now on the streaming giant’s games platform. Puzzle title Ludo King: Netflix and merge game Diner Out are live right now, while Snake.io is set to launch on August 27.
Board game classic Battleships, meanwhile, is set to come out on September 10. Rollercoaster Tycoon Touch is also coming on October 8.
Ultimate Hunting: Hunter Game (Miniclip)
Miniclip has soft launched this hunting sim in the Philippines and Indonesia on both iOS and Android.
World’s End Club (Izanagigames)
Pocket Gamer reports that this quirky narrative puzzle title is out now for iOS. It has a $9.99 price tag.
Machine Yearning (Tiny Little Keys)
This game jam winning puzzle title is coming out on September 12 for iOS and Android.
Maid of Sker (Wales Interactive)
Pocket Gamer reports that pre-orders are now live for this Welsh folklore-themed stealth game. It’s free-to-try and is set to launch on iOS and Android on September 10.
