Here every Friday you’ll find big games gone global, fresh soft launches, the latest release dates and everything in between.
This week’s update is published in association with Metaplay:
Metaplay is a fully-extensible backend for making top-tier mobile games, with pre-built tech and tools to cover you from your first line of code right through to LiveOps and player support. Its new Managed Service plans start at just €995/month.
One Punch Man: World (Crunchyroll)
This Genshin Impact-like open world action adventure topped the charts in most major western markets this week. It’s out now on Android, iOS and PC.
NBA 2K24 My Team (2K)
As spotted by TouchArcade, this one seems to have been punted out by 2K worldwide on iOS and Android with no promotion whatsoever. It’s a card collecting battler that can also be linked to the equivalent console game.
LEGO Hill Climb Adventures (Fingersoft)
We only just clocked this one, which appears to have been in soft launch for months. It is only on Android in Vietnam for now, says Sensor Tower, and is exactly what the title suggests: Fingersoft’s popular physicsy arcade racing plus LEGO’s familiar blocky style.
Frostpunk: Beyond the Ice (Com2Us)
This mobile edition of the popular PC strategy game is now in soft launch on the App Store and Google Play in the US, UK and Philippines. A global launch is coming later this year.
Atelier Resleriana (Koei Tecmo)
This lavish, cult anime-style RPG has a pleasingly over-the-top subtitle: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator. It dropped last week on iOS, Android and Steam.
Kingdom Chess (Chess.com)
Chess gets mobile game-ified with a Candy-style progression map, character upgrades and a builder meta in this new release from chess.com. It’s out now on iOS and Android.
Yes, Your Grace (Noodlecake)
This is a kingdom management game that’s come to iOS and Android after seeing some success on PC, Xbox and Switch. It’s a free to start game, with the full game unlock available at $4.99 until February 8. After that it goes up to full price.
BEAST: Bio Exo Arena Suit Team (Oh BiBi)
This colourful 3v3 shooter is out now on Apple Arcade, and appears to be a kid-friendly evolution the French game-maker’s successful free to play game Frag Pro Shooter. It also follows recent Oh BiBi release and ‘Coin Master at sea’ game Go Go Magnet.
