Here are last month’s top grossing mobile games based on in-app purchase earnings, according to Appmagic data.
These IAP estimates do not include ad revenue, web shop spend, Apple and Google’s 30% cut or revenue from China’s Android ecosystem.
There’s commentary on which way the biggest earners are trending, and other interesting tidbits from the top 20 and beyond below.
In between these monthly updates, you can keep tabs on Appmagic’s top grossing and top downloads charts anytime here.

A second month of revenue decline for Honor of Kings hasn’t unseated it from the top of these charts it’s still a good $35m ahead of Microfun’s Gossip Harbor, which spent its second month as the runner-up to Tencent’s MOBA in September, having earned $112m in August and $99m in September.
With September a day shorter than August alot of the steady performers have posted what looks like a slight decline in IAP revenue last month, but they’re effectively flat.
Gossip Harbor is back to earning just under $100m, as it was in July, and is narrowly ahead of Roblox, which also dipped under the $100m mark again. This summer didn’t bring us viral success on the scale we saw with Steal a Brainrot and Grow a Garden last year, when it was pulling in north of $150m per month in its peak summer months; this year’s peaks of just over $100m look pretty modest in comparison.

Royal Match also dipped under $100m for September, but took a harder hit than the other in this list – September was its lowest estimated IAP revenue total since June 2023, in fact, having reliably been over $100m for the last three years.
Scopely’s Monopoly Go remains around the $80-85m mark, as it has been since a sudden drop in IAP revenue in February of this year. Whiteout Survival saw a pretty alarming month-on-month drop – September’s total of ~$79m is its worst performance since June 2024.
Similarly, King’s Candy Crush Saga posted its worst monthly IAP earnings since April 2022, after performing pretty well in the spring and peaking again back in August.

Century Games’ Kingshot dropped too, down to about $64m in September after three months of posting about $79m, its lowest monthly title since July 2025.
Pokémon Go continues to be very spiky month-to-month; in June it posted about $30m in IAP revenue, then leapt up to $99m in July, plunged to $46m in August and then bounced back up to $62m last month.
PUBG Mobile has been similarly volatile lately – from June’s $62m in earnings it leapt up to around $100m in July and August and is now back down to about $55m for September.
September’s top grossing mobile game chart: 11-20
11. Delta Force (Tencent): $51m
12. Coin Master (Moon Active): $47m
13. Last War: Survival (FunFly): $43m
14. eFootball (Konami): $41m
15. Gardenscapes (Playrix): $37m
16. Township (Playrix): $35m
17. TfT: Golden Spatula (Riot): $34m
18. Royal Kingdom (Dream Games): $33m
19. Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle (Bandai Namco): $32m
20. Free Fire Max (Garena): $31m
While Delta Force and Coin Master are relatively flat month-on-month, LastWar’s alarming decline continued in September. FunFly’s strategy game is down to just over $43m earned last month, a remarkable fall from February’s estimates of $135m. In case you missed it, we’ve been told there’s a lawsuit around this game that has meant the high cost IAPs have been removed, and there’s been very little new content for players to spend on, too.
The decline of Konami’s eFootball is rather more obvious – it seemed to be the primary beneficiary of July’s World Cup final, but has faded since then.
The big risers in this bracket are TFT: Golden Spatula (up nine spots month-on-month) and DBZ: Dokkan Battle (up a whopping 45 places).
Outside the top 20, Mihoyo duo Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail are both up six spots month-on-month, up to 22nd and 23rd respectively, having each earned about $27m in September.
Tencent’s Valorant mobile game is down seven spots to 27th place having earned $22m last month, while top grossing stalwarts Monster Strike and Puzzle & Dragons have each risen up a little to 28th (~$21m) and 30th ($18m) respectively.
New Korea-only Com2us ROG Zeus has also got off to a strong start, earning over $17m in its first full month on the top grossing chart.
