Exient, Kwalee, Ustwo Games, Sega Hardlight and Sports Interactive are among the mobile game-makers nominated in Ukie’s 2024 Video Games Awards.
Voting is open now to Ukie members, with the winners to be announced at an event on March 7.
The contenders in the Best UK Mobile Game category are Desta: The Memories Between (ustwo games), Football Manager 2024 Mobile / Touch (Sports Interactive), Sonic Dream Team (SEGA HARDlight), The Isle Tide Hotel (Wales Interactive), The Queen’s Gambit Chess (Rockwater) and Ultimate Sackboy (Exient).
Mobile is also represented in the best publisher category, with Exient, Kwalee and Wales Interactive up against nDreams, Secret Mode and Yogscast Games. Wales Interactive and Sumo Digital are also represented in the Best UK Developer category.
Rockwater (The Queen’s Gambit Chess) and Sketchbook Games (Lost Words: Beyond The Page) are in contention for the Rising Star Award, up against PC/Console game-makers Bonsai Collective, Isokron, Sad Owl Studios and Skyline Studios Games.
Mobile is also well-represented in the Sustainability Champion category, with Sports Interactive/SEGA, Sumo Group, Testronic and Ustwo games nominated. You can find the full list on nominees through here.
