New games now: AFK Journey, World of Warships: Legends, Asphalt’s evolution, Ghost Trick, that Sonic/Fall Guys game and more

AFK Journey (Farlight Games)

This role-playing follow up to hit game AFK Arena is out now on both the App Store and Google Play.

World of Warships: Legends (Wargaming)

Wargaming has now released this naval sim on iOS and Android worldwide. It’s the same game as the existing console version, and allows for cross-play and cross-progression.

Asphalt Legends Unite (Gameloft)

Asphalt 9: Legends is effectively being relaunched as Asphalt Legends Unite later this year. The newly-reworked game is coming to all major platforms, including iOS and Android, on July 17.

Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective (Capcom)

This cult detective game from Ace Attorney creator Shu Takumi has been spruced up and re-released on iOS and Android worldwide.

Sonic Toys Party (Sega)

A leaked trailer initially published – but now taken down – by YouTuber The Sonic Show shows off an upcoming title that merges the gameplay of Sonic with that of Fall Guys. There’s no official word about a release date or platforms, but the UI suggests it’s definitely a mobile game.

Farming Simulator Kids (Giants Software)

A kids version of Giants Software’s hit sim series is out now on the App Store and Google Play with a $2.99 price tag.

Wildfrost (Chucklefish)

One year after its Switch and PC debut, this roguelike deckbuilder is coming to iOS and Android on April 11.

Lonesome Village (Ogre Pixel)

PocketGamer reports that this cosy puzzle adventure title is set to snuggle into both iOS and Android on April 11.

Riftbusters (Phantom Gamelabs)

An open beta is now live for this upcoming looter shooter from Supercell-backed studio Phantom Gamelabs. It’s available on Google Play in Finland, Poland and the USA, and it is eventually coming to iOS and other countries.

Tarisland (Tencent)

As reported by Gamingonphone, preregistration for Tencent’s fantasy MMO is now open on Android and iOS ahead of what looks like a June 14 release date.

Cassette Beasts (Raw Fury)

As spotted by TouchArcade, publisher Raw Fury has announced that monster-collecting romp Cassette Beasts is “coming soon” to iOS and Android, though there’s no release window as yet.

Skate Fish (Whitethorn Games)

This new game combines skateboarding and, er, fishing. It’s out now on both Google Play and the App Store.

Speed Demons (Radiangames)

Having been part of the original Apple Arcade line-up, this racing hit has come to the App Store as a $4.99 premium title.

云・射雕 /Condor Heroes (NetEase)

This open-world martial arts RPG based on Jin Yong’s martial arts books is out now in soft launch on iOS in China.

Squarelets (Chaos Cookie)

This cosy image puzzle game is the first release from developer Chaos Cookie. It’s out now on the App Store.
