Apple has confirmed that three new titles are being added to its Arcade roster in December, with three games also leaving the service “soon”.
Coming first is Dead Cells+, a re-release of Motion Twin’s cult roguelike metroidvania. Set for release on December 2, the port is handled by Playdigious, which handled the original App Store edition of the game.
JellyCar Worlds is next, set for December 9. It’s a physics-driven platform-puzzler and a follow-up to the early App Store hit JellyCar, made by original developer Walaber Entertainment.
Gameloft’s My Little Pony: Mane Merge completes the line-up on December 16. This is a merge-and-restore game with slick 3D presentation.
Apple also confirmed that three games would be leaving the service “soon”: Mighty Bear’s Butter Royale, Frosty Pop’s Kings of the Castle and Mixedbag’s Secret Oops.
Existing games getting content updates in December include Sneaky Sasquatch, Bloons TD 6+, Crossy Road Castle, The Oregon Trail and Temple Run: Puzzle Adventure.
The December games follow on from November’s Apple Arcade slate, which included Football Manager 2023 Touch, NBA 2K23 Arcade Edition, SpongeBob SolitairePants and re-releases of Battleheart Legacy and Old Man’s Journey.
