Sensor Tower has kindly agreed to send us exclusive weekly download and revenue charts for the US, China, Japan and the UK. Here’s the data for the week of August 22-28.
Let’s start with US downloads.
It’s a static top four in the combined US download chart with Survivor.io, Stumble Guys, Roblox and Subway Surfers holding firm at the top. Baidu’s Wolf Game enters at nine this week, driven mostly by its iOS performance.
Garena Free Fire made a big splash in the US top grossing charts, jumping up to fourth off the back of a 5th anniversary collaboration with Justin Bieber. It’s live ops driving Pokémon Go’s success too, with its Go Fest Finale pushing it up to third in the combined iOS and Android earnings charts.
In China, Genshin Impact has risen up several spots in the earnings chart for the second week running, coming in second to perennial top grosser Honor of Kings. And on downloads, there are no new entries as Subway Surfers retains the top spot.
Quantum Maki is the top new entry in Japan’s download charts, a mech shooter RPG from developer Efun. Match-3 puzzler Nemo’s Aqua Pop from Sundaytoz and Archero-alike Path of Immortals from Mechanist also debut this week at six and nine respectively.
After several weeks on top, Fate/Grand Order drops to third from the number one spot as Cyberagent’s Uma Musume Pretty Derby and Mixi’s Monster Strike overtake Sony’s solid top earner.
Stumble Guys takes the number one spot in the UK download charts, with Crazylabs’ Makeup Kit holding steady at two and Roblox, Subway Surfers and Woodoku rising several spots this week. Zego Global’s GT Car Stunt Master 3D also makes its first appearance at ninth in the combined chart.
And finally the UK top grossing list is pretty much what you’d expect, with Roblox retaining top spot and Pokémon Go rising several spots this week, thanks to the Go Fest Finale.
