GungHo has confirmed that Disney Pixel RPG, its mobile-exclusive retro-style role playing game, will shut down on September 30.
The closure notice on the game’s official site (as translated by machine) says the development team has been running several free farewell events this summer in anticipation of the game’s closure.
It’ll be removed from the app stores and servers will close on September 30.
Any unused in-game currency can be refunded through the game’s official site up until January 13 2027.
AppMagic estimates suggest the RPG has been downloaded almost 1.5m times since its 2024 launch, generating lifetime revenue of over $3.1m.
