PlayStation continues to build its mobile arm with the appointment of Amy Oka-Shek as its new strategic finance director for mobile. Oka-Shek joins after almost six years at Zynga, where she was director of demand planning. She has also previously worked in business planning at Beeline Interactive and Capcom.
Space Ape Games has added former Apple App Store business manager Derek De Filippo to its ranks as marketing lead. He joins after almost five years at Apple, and has previously worked at Side, Mediatonic and Kuju.
At Activision Blizzard, Claire (Peiyu) Wang has stepped into the role of partnerships product marketing manager for both COD: Mobile and COD: Warzone Mobile. She moves up after working in partnerships at ABK since January 2021, when she joined from her role as associate brand manager at Tencent Games.
TikTok continues to make new appointments within its gaming team. This week, former PlayStation and Eleven Sports marketing manager Paweł Wróbel joins as new senior manager of global gaming partnerships within the social media giant’s central European operation.

Over at Zynga, Paula Neves is now senior product manager, having moved over from Ludia where she held the same title. Neves also previously served at Square Enix Montreal and Gazeus Games.
Flick Games has appointed Andrew Eades as its new CTO, having recently raised another round of funding. Eades started his career back in 1991, working on Lemmings and Dune before co-founding Relentless, maker of PlayStation’s Buzz series. Eades has also worked at Microsoft and Hasbro and self-published mobile games Blue Toad Murder Files, Quiz Climber and The Trace. He moves to Flick after a stint at UX/UI specialist Sprung Studios.
Seriously’s closure last week has led to a flurry of moves in Helsinki. Bea Grandell has joined Rovio as its new head of talent acquisition, having held a similar role at the Best Fiends maker. Peter Tokoi, who was most recently EVP of studio operations at Seriously, announced his new role as co-founder and COO at start-up Cosmic Lounge. And former Seriously senior finance manager Mikael Liukas has also found a new role as finance director at casual multiplayer game studio Superplus Games.
Big Fish Games has a new brand director, Rachael Grant. She steps up from her role as senior manager for brand marketing at Big Fish and has previously worked in senior marketing roles at King, Activision, Ubisoft and Eidos.

Sandsoft Games also confirmed its senior leadership team this past week. Former EA and Zynga product manager and producer Yahsir Qureshi is head of studio, former King exec David Fernandez is CEO and Rovio veteran Miika Lindgren is head of publishing. The trio are heading up the new flagship studio in Riyadh.
And as ever there are a raft of newbies and promotions at King: Candy Crush Saga’s new product manager Hector Pertegal Muñoz moves into his new role after two years leading King’s strategy and competitive insights teams. Muñoz has also previously worked at Tilting Point, Socialpoint and Amazon.
Elsewhere at King: Alexander Sjöberg is new product manager, Anders Englesson is now taking care of back end engineering and ML-ops, GameDuell’s Evan Derian is King’s new live marketing manager, Viktor Andersson has stepped up to become associate UX researcher and Nico Dontas is the new senior tech recruiter.

Scopely continues to expand, too. Esteve Torrents is the new client engineer there, joining from Outfit7, Adriana Mata Fontcuberta joins as product manager from tech firm Idrica and Marta Rojas joins as software engineer from Metaphase07.
Last but not least, Eugen Quiring is the new senior publishing manager at Homa Games, moving from a similar role at Sunday. Quiriing has also previously worked at DP Space, Applovin and Accenture. Metacore continues to grow, too – Dish M. Eldishnawy is the new product manager there, moving over from a similar role at Unity. He has also previously worked in product management at Rovio.
