Supercell’s new senior product marketing manager is Deniz Kural. He joins the Clash of Clans maker having held the same job title at Rovio. He has also previously worked in marketing at Gameforge, Flaregames and Netmarble.
A16z has added a partner to its Games Fund One team, Troy Kirwin. He joins as investment partner from Unity, where he was senior manager of corporate strategy and development. Before Unity Kirwin was in banking at Jefferies.
As ever, there are several new faces at King. Emily Pestell has joined the global corporate communications team at the Candy Crush maker after a stint at Samsung, where she was senior public relations manager. Pestell has also previously held PR roles at Activision, Nintendo and Disney.
Also at King, Jitesh Khakhar is now senior commercial finance manager, Francesco Venneri is now senior backend engineer and Johanna Sjögren has stepped up to become head of analytics and reporting for Candy Crush Soda Saga.

Craig Chapple is now senior market insights analyst at Data.ai, having made the switch from Sensor Tower, where he was mobile insights strategist for EMEA.
Aemee Doherty is now part of the games business development team at Apple. She moves over from Kabam, where she was director of business development working on titles like Marvel Contest of Champions, Shop Titans and Disney Mirrorverse.
At Wildlife Studios, Alexei Ryan is now working in the busy ‘new studios’ part of the business, moving over from the recruitment team; at Tripledot, Ziro Neto has started a new role as lead game artist for Liveplay Bingo; and Mit Patel has moved from investment bank Canaccord Genuity to take a role at AppLovin in biz ops and strategy.

Last but not least: as we reported last week, Scopely has hired Amazon veteran Phil Hardin as its new CFO, who joins from the same role at Beyond Meat. Previous to that Hardin was at Amazon for 15 years, in an array of senior roles.
