July’s top mobile game downloads: Roblox, Free Fire, Arrows, Block Blast, Soccer Superstar, more

Here are the top mobile game downloads from last month, according to Appmagic data.

Appmagic’s estimates do not include numbers from China’s fractured Android market. There’s also commentary on July’s most notable trends from the top 20 and beyond below.

In between these monthly updates, you can also keep tabs on Appmagic’s top grossing and top downloads charts here.

School’s out in Roblox‘s biggest markets so naturally it has leapt to the top of the downloads chart for July.

With nearly 23m downloads last month, the UGC platform has reached a similar install rate as the last big school break at Christmas. But it’s still way off the spectacular numbers posted in July and August last year, which saw Roblox hit 34m and then 36m installs in consecutive months.

Free Fire Max has kept up its stellar recent performance, too, with its fifth straight month of generating about 22m installs.

Elsewhere in the chart there’s a lot more movement than usual, mostly driven by the sudden decline of Learnings’ Arrows Go and Miniclip’s Arrows – Puzzle Escape.

Arrows Go dropped from racking up over 23m installs in June to under 12m last month, while Miniclip’s Arrows game saw a similar drop, down to just over 11m in July from claiming over 25m in June.

They seem to have been replaced by another game from Miniclip named Arrows Puzzle: Tap Puzzle Games. This one has rocketed up the rankings since launching in November 2025 and really accelerated hard from May onwards. It posted an estimated 19m+ downloads in July, claiming the number three spot.

Regular top performers Block Blast, Ludo King and Subway Surfers maintained their spots in the top ten despite the power of the World Cup, which saw Soccer Superstar, Football League 2026 and EA FC Mobile gatecrash the top download chart.

Each football game gathered momentum as the tournament reached its crescendo on World Cup final day, July 19, then all three dropped off afterwards.

July’s top downloads: 11-20

11. Arrows – Puzzle Escape (Miniclip): 11.4m
12. eFootball (Konami): 11.2m
13. Meowdoku (Learnings): 10.5m
14. Vita Mahjong (Learnings): 10.3m
15. Block Crazy Robo World Craft (Prokids Studio): 10.2m
16. Smash Fest (Flow Games): 10.2m
17. Paper.io 2 (Voodoo): 10m
18. Level Devil (WebVentures): 9.8m
19. Bus Traffic Driver (Goodroid): 9.7m
20. Gossip Harbor (Microfun): 9.7m

As mentioned above, Miniclip’s Arrows game dropped out of the top ten but was replaced by another arrows game, also from Miniclip. And like the three football games in the top ten, eFootball also benefitted from a bit of World Cup fever, rising to hit 12th spot.

Learnings makes it three games in the top 20 with Meowdoku in 13th and a fading Vita Mahjong in 14th.

The surprisingly resilient Block Crazy Robo World Craft is once again in the top 20, and there’s gathering momentum behind Flow Games’ Smash Fest, which racked up over 10m downloads in just its second full month of release.

Level Devil and Gossip Harbor also saw notable month-on-month growth, rising 11 and 34 places in the charts respectively. Meanwhile, Supercent’s Pizza Ready has taken a surprise nosedive – it’s down to 23rd place, having dropped 14 spots month-on-month.
