Here are the top mobile game downloads from last month, according to Appmagic data.
Appmagic’s estimates do not include numbers from China’s fractured Android market. There’s also commentary on May’s most notable trends from the top 20 and beyond below.

Miniclip and Learnings/Oakever Games’ respective ‘Arrows’ games shot into the top ten back in April and just kept going. They take up not just the top two spots for May but Miniclip has a companion Arrows game in ninth spot, too.
All three games’ downloads are mostly driven by players in India. Appmagic data suggests India represents roughly a third of Arrows and Arrows / Amaze Go’s downloads in the last thirty days. The trend is even more pronounced for Miniclip’s newer Arrows Puzzle game in ninth spot, with 72% of downloads from India.
It’s also worth noting that Learnings’ title saw its name change recently from Arrows Go to Amaze Go. More on that soon.
Elsewhere in the top ten, Free Fire, Roblox, Ludo King, Subway Surfers and Pizza Ready posted pretty typical monthly downloads numbers while Block Blast and Vita Mahjong each posted another month of decline. Block Blast, having dominated these charts for so long, saw its lowest monthly downloads total since September 2025.
That dip in downloads is likely down to Block Blast’s brief disappearance from Google Play at the end of the month, but also, broadly speaking, 2026 has not seen the ubiquitous puzzler hit the highs of the ~38m downloads it achieved December 2025.
Vita Mahjong saw a fourth straight month of downloads decline, after hitting 14.6m installs in January 2026.

In eleventh spot, Fortnite was about a million downloads away from breaking the top ten, and leapt up 18 spots month-on-month after its return to iOS stores worldwide, apart from Australia.
Having made the top ten in April, Royal Kingdom dropped out of the top ten for May, while three strange Minecraft-adjacent games, Block Crazy Robo World Craft, School Party Craft and Super Bear Adventure each scored a top 20 spot for May.
Magic Tiles, Magic Sort and My Talking Tom 2 each fell a couple of places last month, and beyond the top 20, EA FC rose up the rankings a little and will likely do so again for June as World Cup fever takes hold.
Having last appeared in the top download slots back in November 2024, Game District’s My Supermarket Simulator 3D returned to the upper end of rankings in 23rd place. With 7.9m downloads for May, it rose a meaty 24 places month-on-month.
