Pocket (Meta)

Meta’s AI-powered minigame making and sharing app, Pocket, has now rolled out to US players, reports TechCrunch.

It was previously only available in Brazil, and appears to be in early testing. It’s a TikTok-like app that lets users create brief games and experiences using text, photos, touch and sound via AI prompts, generating an interactive feed of what Meta calls ‘gizmos.’

As far as we’re aware Pocket has not had any official marketing or PR support to date.

Frozen Manor: Merge Mystery (Century Games)

Whiteout Survival maker Century Games appears to be preparing another new merge game for early testing, according to a new product page in AppMagic. Frozen Manor appears to be Android-only but has yet to register any downloads through Google Play.

PUBG Mobile Light (Tencent/Krafton)

As reported on Monday, Tencent and Krafton appears to be targeting players on lower-end devices with this new slimline edition of PUBG Mobile. Designed to be less demanding in terms of graphics and memory, pre-registration for PUBG Mobile Light opens on August 25, with a full launch to come later this year.

Gangstar: Mirage City (Tencent/Gameloft)

As reported yesterday, this GTA-meets-Cyberpunk-like open world crime game is rolling out this week in LatAm, MENA, South Asia, Eastern and Central Europe and Southeast Asia on iOS and Android. There’s no word yet on a worldwide launch.

Feral Interactive’s twin-stick mobile port of the 2014 co-op action-adventure is open for pre-registration on iOS and Android, ahead of a September 8 release.

This officially licensed The Traitors social deduction game, played entirely through WhatsApp for groups of up to 30, is now on sale ahead of an early September UK and Ireland launch, priced from £8.99 per player.

Aptoide Games (Aptoide)

Aptoide’s dedicated games storefront has returned to Google Play in the US after more than a decade’s absence, the first rival Android app store to do so under Google’s new Play Catalog Access programme, itself a result of Google’s ongoing Epic antitrust case.

Stickmen Hunt (Popcore/Take-Two)

This hidden-object puzzler, tasking players with spotting camouflaged stick figures across illustrated scenes, is out now in the UK, seemingly only via the App Store.

Ragnarok: Adventures (GungHo)

GungHo’s one-handed auto-battle RPG spin-off of Ragnarok Online is in pre-registration in Japan, with a release scheduled for October 30. It’s set to release on Android and iOS.

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time (Level-5)

LEVEL-5’s slow-life RPG, previously released on PC and consoles, is now out on iOS and Android for $24.99, with cross-play and cross-save support.

Bringer (YHKT Entertainment)

This narrative-driven fantasy action RPG for PC, PlayStation 5 and mobile from Chinese animation studio YHKT Entertainment gets its first playable demo at Gamescom 2026 next week.
