Mika Games, the investment company founded by Wargaming cofounder Nick Katselapov, has raised a further $10m in a new funding round.
Mika announced the round, led by Flint Capital today, October 21, saying it will help mobile studios address the “catch-22” of needing “a proven marketing track record to access financing, but need upfront capital to build it”.
Mika also pointed to stats claiming US top 1,000 by downloads nearly halved between 2020 and 2024.
The investment outfit combines equity funding for teams and product development with separate capital for paid user acquisition tests. It says successful tests can help studios qualify for further financing.
Its portfolio includes five studios, among them Legendale, which has more than 3m players, and Punko, which has more than 500,000 downloads.
Mika invested $2m in Punko developer Agonalea Games in 2025 and has said it aims to deploy $50m in total.
